Waiting for the final results - feel that the process is going well

I am 5 days post Lipo-360 with J- plasma and I feel that the process is going well. Except for the pain, I’m hanging in there. I also experience dizziness and lightheadedness that seem to coincide with massages. I realize that this is due to dehydration. I’m making an effort to drink more water as directed. Q: Hi! I’m 24 years young and I have PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome). (Hormone imbalance) Do I still qualify for a BBL?
Answered by Dr. BermanMay 10, 2019

A: Hello,

Im here to be gladly assist you with this question.

PCOS will not prevent you from having surgery. You will need a medical clearance from your doctor before continuing with surgery to ensure you are safe for anesthesia.  As long you are healthy enough to undergo general anesthesia, then it should be fine to proceed because that is the most important part.

I hope that helped.

Q: 3 weeks post op tummy tuck, my incision reopened. Is this something to worry about or a sign of infection? (photo)
Answered by Dr. BermanMay 9, 2019

A: Thank you for your question.  My recommendation is that you follow up with your surgeon as he will be able to tell you what step to follow.   Usually wounds would separate at time because of your level of activity might have increased.  I don't think you would worry as it heal fine in a couple of weeks.

Q: When am I supposed to use the lipo foam boards?

A: Hello, Lipo Foams should be use as soon as you feel comfortable enough to wear. Lipo foams will prevent burns and markings to skin from Garment the board will keep your abdomen firm at all times allowing your skin to retract and increasing chances for an excellent final result best of luck and thank you for your question.

Q: Will Electrolysis effect my BBL results?
Answered by Dr. BermanJuly 28, 2016

A: It will have small effect on the fat graphs placed in the muscle
or the subcutaneous tissue which are required for Brazilian Butt Lift .You can count on a certain amount of redness, swelling,
welts, tiny blisters, scabs, dryness, and ingrowns between treatments.
These temporary side effects must be treated properly to avoid permanent skin
damage.
