Hello, When I measured my green line is 6.8cm wherein current hair line is 5.3 cm. its 1.5 cm down. Would this is be an issue in future ? I am 34 years old now, and worried in future this would look awkward ? Also, having the hairline this much down in the forehead would cause any headache ? Kindly suggest ? thank you.

I have done my FUE 3 weeks ago, and noticed the hair line the doctor put is very down.

To estimate the number of grafts needed, we perform a high definition hair dermoscopy to better visualize the hair that surrounds the bald spot to see whether that area is thinning too (miniaturizing ). &nbsp;If so, then the graft count would reflect providing density in the area that is also continuing to thin. &nbsp;In general, 1250 to 1500 grafts would &nbsp;be needed to achieve a dense result for an area similar to your bald spot.

It is not uncommon to experience hair shedding after initiating minoxidil. &nbsp;Minoxidil may accelerate hair entering the telogen phase to shed sooner (although they were going to shed irregardless of the medicine). &nbsp;New hair will growth in the oncoming months after starting minoxidil. &nbsp;Other caveats about minoxidil is that it can irritate the scalp causing itchiness due to a contact dermatitis. &nbsp;It is best to use the medication under the guidance of a hair loss expert to make sure you are avoiding side-effects and that the efficacy of the medical treatment can be verified.

I have been use minoxidil for 6-7 months now, at first I did experience the shedding, and hairs grow back since then. But now it is shedding again, and worst the ever before. I read a lot peoples blog about the second shedding. Some said it will grow back, some said will not. I am still keep using the minoxidil, and I just want to know is the second shedding normal? After 6 weeks post FUE surgery, the wounds and grafts have healed. &nbsp;It is generally safe to use&nbsp;camouflage products (e.g. hair fibers, etc .). Make sure you are not allergic to the product your choose as it can cause a contact dermatitis and may affect your skin and hair.

6 weeks post FUE, can start using hair fibres like Toppik to help with concealing?

It is common for the implanted hair shafts to shed several seeks after surgery. &nbsp;The J hairs occur because of trauma to the &nbsp;hair shaft&nbsp;during forcep&nbsp;implantation. In general the other aspects of the hair follicle may not be damaged and a new hair is expected to grow&nbsp;

3 weeks after fue hair transplant and I think my hairs are starting to shed. However they have a kink at the end, is this normal? Is the follicle itself safe?

CVG case with 3700 grafts , because of swelling cvg is not visible , and low recovery process , the grafts seems black , done in turkey , they gave me klavon bid 1000 mg and tetradox 100 mg , 2 tablets/day for 5d, precort 16mg for 3 days 4,2,1 tablets and injected ciproktan and told me to wait 10 days , wondering if its normal if the grafs are infected ? how to speed recovery?

The hair transplant result can be significant at 6 months after the procedure (depending on the session size). &nbsp;The final result comes at 12-18 months after the procedure. &nbsp;You will still have much more time to see new hair grow. &nbsp;Be patient.

Hair shedding is normal because hair follicles go through different phases (e.g.growth, shedding, dormancy). &nbsp;Less than a hundred hairs a day is considered within a normal range.&nbsp;We sometimes perform a "pull test" to see whether the hair shedding is abnormal. &nbsp;
You should consider returning to your hair loss expert for an evaluation and tests.

Hello doctors ....... I had an hair transplant 6 months ago , everything looks good except sometimes when I pull or cross my hair with my fingers , I notice a lot of small hairs and a bit of long hairs , I asked my doctor he said to me it’s very normal so I’m asking you doctors if it is a big problem to be worried about , I will be glad to know your opinions , thank you doctors

If you are not experiencing&nbsp;hair loss due to male pattern hair loss, you may not see&nbsp;an improvement in hair growth if you use minoxidil. &nbsp;
In our practice, we use high definition hair dermoscopy to evaluate the scalp and hair. &nbsp;If there are "empty follicles" (e.g. "yellow dots") on examination, you may experience some improvement in using topical minoxidil.

I have black hair and you can see my scalp. Especially when I use hair gel.

I'm not losing any hair at all, but would be alright to use minoxidil for my hair?
