This office may provide good skin care--I don't know about that. I went there for the Artas robotic hair. I paid for 1000 transplanted hair grafts. I'm lucky if I received even 250. I photographed the results after 3 days, and then again after 3 weeks and the results are visible. Even if some have not started growing yet, it''s obvious there's nowhere near the number I paid for. I was greatly short-changed. I wish I went to someone with more experience. I lost a lot of money and healthy donor hair. Not recommended at all. Updated on 26 Oct 2018: This is an update on the Artas hair transplant procedure done by Dr. Joseph Galatzin of Skin Care of Fifth Ave in Peachtree City, Ga. I chose this office because of its convenient location. I should have gone to someone with more ability. This is a skin care office with a new money-making machine and little (if any) real experience. I left my hair long to easily identify the location of the grafts. As I said before, I paid for 100 grafts. There is nowhere near that many The number can be disputed but the results are evident. Even if there were 1000 graphs transplanted, very few of them survived—which not what the patient pays for. I have included pictures. The first two pictures were taken less than a week after the procedure (anywhere near 1000?). The next picture was taken about one month after (some seem to be sprouting). The last two pictures were taken almost 3 months later (more of them didn’t survive). Terrible decision on my part.
A complete waste of money! After spending $1400, I have had no results. A complete waste! The procedure was to eliminate (greatly reduce) area in upper ab. No results were received. After going back for a second treatment, still no results. I am not pleased. I would not recommend CoolSculpt OR Skincare at 5th.
I agree with the previous response. Your symptoms are unlikely to be the result of Botox, and may be indicative of other problems. Please seek an appropriate evaluation with your PMD, or head to an Emergency Room.
I would recommend working with a Hair specialist to adequately work up the underlying cause. This will require relavent blood work, diet analysis, and other lifestyle assessments to identify and treat the cause.
In terms of filler choice for the tear trough, hyalronic acid fillers are the preferred substance. Within that category products like Restylane and Bolotero do a nice job. Juvederm is a reversible HA filler, but can produce late onset swelling. Vollure also seems to be a good option. In my practice, Radiesse, and Sculptra are never used in the tear trough, as they are not reversible. Fat is an option, but requires surgery, and can enlarge if weight gain occurs causing bulging or irregularities. Seek a physician who has experience and wants to gradually add volume to this delicate area. I hope this helps.
Years ago when fillers first hit the market, they were more commonly called dermal fillers, as the treatment goal was to typically address more superficial lines (wrinkles), with varying success. As the understanding of how the face ages and development of better fillers and injection techniques, the concept of injecting deep, to replace bone and refill the deep fat pockets of the face evolved. Without a consultation, it’s difficult to say which treatment is best for you. But typically, the idea of “restoring the foundation”, is preferable to than just “fixing the siding”. Whatever path you choose, make sure you have an doctor who understand these differences and does not try to overfill, but takes a gradual approach to facial contouring, allowing the tissues to adequately accommodate each treatment, before adding more.
Volume loss in the cheeks during your 30’s is a normal part of facial remodeling. As we age the fat pads diminish along with resorption of bone. This combined with with an active lifestyle can produce the appearance you articulated. There are many options available to gently and gradually replace lost volume. Typically Hyaluronic Acid based fillers are used for this purpose. When done properly, they can give a natural appearance, and can be reversed if needed. Seek a physician who can work with you over time to allow the face to accomodate the treatments and to not try to replace all the lost volume in one treatment.
