I recently lost 100lbs and even though I have hips, my butt kind of deflates and sinks in. I was interested in getting a Brazilian Butt Lift, but two plastic surgeons have said to do a Butt Lift (even though I don't have much sagging), and they can overlay the fat on my hips on top of fat in order to not get flat buttocks. Does this sound right or should I pursue the Brazilian Butt Lift?
After 100lbs weight loss, I'd be more willing to bet you are a candidate for a Butt Lift via skin removal rather than fat grafting (the Brazilian Butt Lift). If you carried so much weight and then lost it, you are both deflated and your skin tone is likely poor. It would take a large amount of fat grafting to "fill things up" and create a tight / toned butt. With skin excision, your surgeon can reset the tone of all the skin on your buttocks, and can actually conserve volume if you so desire. I'd expect this is the reason that the two other surgeons suggested the traditional butt lift rather than the Brazilian method.
