I Just Had Got a Tummy Tuck Yesterday, I'm Very Sore but Today I'm Starving. What Can I Eat?

What should I eat and being that I got a tummy tuck can I eat whatever I want???

A: Eating after tummy tuck surgery Eat and drink conservatively to avoid nausea from the anesthesia. Start with clear liquids, such as soup, or bread. Stay away from dairy products, greasy or fried foods, etc. for a few days. Just basic common sense. Also, eat moderately before taking the pain medication so it won't nauseate you.

Is It Safe to Have Full Tummy Tuck Combined with Lipo of the Full Back Within a Week of Each Other? Part 2

thank you all for resp. to previous question. iam 35yo 5 8 246 lbs my weight has been stable for 10 yrs.tho the ps sug i lose at least 20 lbs. i carry most of my weight in my stomach sorry i donot have any pics...the nyc ps suggested i split the 2 for safety reasons stating the amount of fat/tissue that has to be removed for the tt it wouldn't be safe to proceed w a full back lipo the same day and that i can put a week bet the 2 procedures.iam comfortable w having the 2 procedures but not the time frame. any suggest

A: Two procedures one week apart Putting aside the issue of whether you are a candidate for either surgery, most board certified anesthesiologists will not participate in cosmetic procedures one week apart. The minimum time between procedures, to avoid anesthesia complications, is 4 weeks and, when a tummy tuck is involved, I would prefer a 6 week interval.

I Am Having a Tummy Tuck & BA & Lift and I Drive Haulpack is 3wks Enough Time off Work? (photo)

I am a 40 y/o/f having a Tummy Tuck and a BA and lift - I am hoping to go from a sagging C cup to a BOLD D or DD - I am unsure. Do you feel a TT will be benificial for me. I drive those big ole Haulpack trucks. I can book for 3 weeks time off is this enough. I dont plan on losing anymore weight just the apron Also, where can I buy the tummy compression bandages and special bras, as I will be on my own and really want to have these things prior to my travelling (I live way up north!) Thank you

A: Time off from work after tummy tuck/augment/pexy

I personally do not think that anyone can guarantee that, after 3 weeks, you will be ready to return to work, particularly driving a vehicle for what I assume would be long distances.  I would suggest that you plan for a minimum of four weeks off although six would be better.  You should clarify the amount of time off that you need with your employer prior to surgery so that there are no misunderstandings afterwards.
