If you are looking for an amazing smart experienced, and incredibly talented plastic surgeon then book a consultation with Dr Amalfi. Her experience, training and credentials are not even close to other plastic surgeons in upstate/western NY and even possibly in all of this area of the US. I researched for almost a year before making my initial appointment, and even met with a world renowned Plastic Surgeon in New York City before meeting Dr Amalfi. After meeting with Dr Amalfi I knew right away she was the perfect match for my surgical needs. She was thorough and answered all my questions, and knew exactly the "look" I was trying to achieve with my breasts after being diagnosed with cancer and losing a major amount of weight which also caused sagging and almost no fullness in my breasts. She is a BC Plastic Surgeon and not a Cosmetic Surgeon which is a huge difference and something I learned while researching who would be the best surgeon for my needs. Dr Amalfi was amazingly friendly & thoughtful, and I appreciated her confidence in her surgical experience and how she quickly picked up on my nervousness and put me at ease. I also love that she is a woman & mother, and can relate and understand the challenges and changes that occur to women after childbirth and cancer. Her office, staff, nurses, and anesthesia team and anyone else I had interactions with were also amazing through in office visits & phone calls, and always made me feel comfortable and helped calm my nerves. I am only 1 week post op and already so in love with my new breasts even though they are still a little swollen & taped, but I can already see that the shape, lift, and size are perfect for my petite frame and exactly the cup size I was looking to achieve. My post op has gone amazingly well and I was up and about with minimal pain just 24 hours after and at the 1st post op surgical visit to her office. I am looking forward to wearing bathing suits this summer without the worry of stuffing them with silicone inserts or silicone lift bras that shift and are uncomfortable and can easily fall out. I would 110% recommend Dr Amalfi to family and friends, and I am so glad that I am lucky to have such a highly experienced Plastic Surgeon like Dr Amalfi 15 minutes from my home. I had been saving up for a little over a year to finance my surgery, but didn't have to pay the full cost up front because they shared with me a company that I could make monthly payments across 18 months interest free, which was an amazing option for a working mom of 3 kids, including one attending college. Thank you Dr Amalfi for making me feel beautiful again after a very difficult cancer diagnosis and major weight loss the last 2 years!

Prior to having the procedure done, I had a lot of hang-ups about it; it’s a heavy decision. If you are reading this review, I imagine you might have some of the same concerns. But I am glad that I went through with it, and I am glad I chose Dr. Amalfi as my provider. Philosophically, I do not believe there was anything physically or aesthetically wrong with how I was before. Everyone has different anatomy, and that is beautiful. Still, I’ll admit that I had a lot of internalized shame—not only about the procedure, but also about seeking a remedy. Ultimately, I rationalized my decision to pursue labiaplasty out of a desire for comfort, specifically while doing some sports. No one on Dr. Amalfi’s team ever made me feel bad or ashamed of my anatomy. The consultation was very empowering, and everyone in the office was kind, professional, and upbeat. I felt totally at ease. The procedure itself was not as painful or scary as I had imagined. It was over before I even knew what was happening. The recovery was more involved than the procedure itself, but even that wasn’t as difficult as I had expected. Full recovery took about a month, but I was able to do office work and light chores after about three or four days. I waited about three months before riding my bicycle or having intercourse. I probably could have resumed those activities sooner, but I chose to be cautious. I had the procedure done about a year and a half ago. The results have been fantastic. I probably would have left a review sooner but it’s simply not something I think about anymore. No more chafing, adjusting, or pinching. Grooming is easier as well. I’m a bit reluctant to upload photos, but everything looks totally normal and natural.

Dr. Amalfi did an amazing job on my full tummy tuck with lipo. I am incredibly happy with my results! Her belly button technique looks so natural and my natural curves compliment her sculpting and lipo work. Would highly recommend her if you are looking for natural, amazing results and want to feel confident as a mom!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Krasniak and the Quatela team. From the very beginning, everyone made me feel extremely comfortable. I was concerned because I had never had any type of surgery or anesthesia. Dr. Krasniak is so knowledgeable and works with you to make sure you get what you want. Even the day of surgery was a breeze! The healing process has been so easy. I am about 2 months post-op and I am happier than I have ever been. My breasts look phenomenal. The incision scars are fading so quickly, everything looks incredibly natural. I feel comfortable and I finally feel like I look good. It was a life-changing experience. I genuinely cannot recommend Dr. Krasniak enough.

I highly recommend Dr. Amalfi and Quatela Center for Plastic Surgery if you are interested in breast augmentation. Everyone at Quatela was very friendly and supportive as well as having an upbeat positive energy. This was my first big surgery and everyone at Quatela made me feel comfortable and reassured me when I was nervous. Dr. Amalfi gave me exactly what I asked for and I couldn’t be happier with my results.

Dr. Krasniak performed my breast reduction in July 2025 - the entire experience from my first call with his patient specialist, to my consultation, to my surgery, and then post-op appointments has been outstanding. Dr. Krasniak is truly exceptional - he approaches his patients with true empathy and understanding and then delivers amazing results. He is a gifted surgeon. I could not be happier with my results - and my recovery has been easy with no complications. The staff at the Quatela Center is unmatched as is the entire patient experience.

If I could give Dr. Krasniak 10 stars I would. Please look at my before pic. I was a desperate woman who had a baby at 43. My self-esteem was terrible. I had just gone to a consult with another plastic surgeon who took one look at me, said "you'll never have a flat tummy". Well — that's because he wasn't Dr. Peter Krasniak. The skill, the bedside manner, the professionalism and confidence, you can tell he is the son of another highly-respected surgeon, now working at one of the most prestigious surgical centers on the east coast. He's magic. Not only was he easier to get into than the other surgeons, because he's a best-kept secret (for now), he's more affordable. Plus when others said my tummy would never be flat, he smiled and DID THIS. Dr. Krasniak, I don't know how you repaired my diastasis recti when others said I'd need to pay for a separate general surgeon, saving me money. I don't know how you sculpted feminine abs from my before pic. How my sides even have this beautiful hourglass with a soft muscle ridge. It's beautiful and hard to explain. My breasts are perky and proportional. I have my core strength back. I love my body so much. Whatever you do, person who is reading this — do not discount Dr. Krasniak because he's newest at Quatela with few reviews. He is 2 seconds away from blowing up. (People magazine wanted to feature my new tummy but I was a little shy!) I am forever grateful. This 45yo mom has a new body, a new lease on life. I can run with my toddler and it feels GOOD. Everything is tight. And my husband is thrilled. I'm motivated to work out. Took up boxing. These pics are 2 months post op. It's getting even better. Dr. Krasniak was great. Im very happy with my breast augmentation and its healed nicely. He is kind and made the process easy. I would recommend quatela and this Dr to anyone looking for that type of work.

Dr. Amalfi was incredible from the moment I met her for my consultation. She listened to all my concerns/questions and gave me her advice on what procedure(s) to do. Dr. Amalfi was very honest and to the point, which I appreciated. Melissa, her patient consultant, was also phenomenal. Melissa was quick to get me answers I was looking for, and I bugged her a lot! There was never a moment I felt like I was being annoying. She kept assuring me my questions were normal and she was there to answer. The day of surgery, I felt at ease as soon as I entered the facility. I was the only one there, and I was taken care of immediately. All the nurses came to introduce themselves, including the anesthesiologist who had a few questions for me. Dr Amalfi then came in to mark me up and was so confident and excited for the surgery. She was very personable. After surgery, I went home and received a call later that day from Dr Amalfi checking in on me. Since then, the nurses have been able to quickly answer my questions, and being able to see Dr Amalfi each week has been so helpful. The nurses there are fantastic, and know exactly what they are doing…you can tell they have been highly trained. I would highly recommend Quatela, especially Dr. Amalfi.
