Dr. Pennino did my face lift. I went to him initially for a minor lump in my face. His offices staff are top notch as is the after care and patient follow up. It has been one week and I look and feel years younger. His office sent me flowers on his and the staffs behalf. I’ve had cosmetic elsewhere with the expensive addresses and no one ever sent me flowers or gave me this much after care. They are genuinely concerned about you and your comfort. I am going back to him in 3 weeks for another procedure and looking forward to the quality work and quality care
Dr. Pennino is an outstanding surgeon. His staff are wonderful and the after care they offer was well beyond what I would have expected for a cosmetic procedure. He performed my tummy tuck after three c-sections and three pregnancies had wrecked my Lower abdomen appearance . I met with two other local surgeons but chose him because he was honest and had a great sense of humor. In addition, he worked out of the hospital which gave me peace of mind. He delivered great results.
I'm very satisfied with my results, Dr. Pennino removed 13 pounds of extra skin of my body, after loosing 164 pounds with gastric bypass surgery. I highly recommend him to any one. I'm so excited!! I have a TT consultation scheduled in exactly 2 weeks.. I'm a 23 year old young mother of 2. I've always naturally had a nice body when I had my first child I got bad stretch marks, but I lost all of the weight I gained. When I had my second child the stretch marks became worse. I put on so much weight I'm 5'4 and usually 150 pounds now I'm 37 pounds over that. I plan on losing the 37 pounds in 90 days or atleast getting close to 160 by time I have the surgery. I'm totally scared because I'm so young.. Is there anybody my age who has had one? I initially had surgery March 18th 2015 and I wasn't really happy with the results. I talked to my surgeon and he told me he'd fix everything for free. He even lipo'd my flanks for free. I had to pay for the anesthesiologist and the room.
My goal is to get my FIGURE back after 23yrs. Im a mother of 2 young adults and 1teenager grandmother of 2. This is something that i wanted to do for a long time but i was scared. When my homegirl went out of work for a while i didnt knw what had happened until she came back and said BAMM look at me now and i was blown away that this chick went and had a tummy tuck. So i told myself that as of today im going harder with tha exercising and eatn healthier cause tha more u lose tha better it looks enough my ps didnt say i had to loose weight. And if anyone read my post please tell me what i will need far as supplies n how to sleep. I dnt have a recliner and my bathroom is upstairs where my room is. I want to sleep on my couch but afraid cause i have to climb the stairs to use the bathroom. So please help....... Updated on 10 Sep 2014: The closer i get tha happier i am. I received more info on wat to expect far as my surgery goes. I got mail today on instructions on how to use my pain pump that tha doc will insert inside my tummy to help control tha pain. Has anyone ever heard of that or used one. My PS is tha chief of Surgery so he makes sure his patients are pain free much as possible thats just why i CHOOSE him. Updated on 17 Sep 2014: Today i went to my pre op appt and it went well. They drew 2 tubes of blood one for CBC N BNP. U. was so nervous because a week from today ill be on tha FLATSIDE if its tha LORDS WILL n i knw he will protect me. Everyone was nice and kept telling me to be calm cause im in the best hands with DR PENNINO. After the post op i went to see him and and asked him for a valium and he said for what u gonna be just and have me a rub on my back and arm. It made me more at ease but i did let him knw that i concerned cause i have a role on my back which is not bad and why hes not doing lipo and he said in my case i dnt need it cause he is gonna cut all tha fat out. So im trusting in him. So please cont to keep me in ya prayers cause a week from today it goes dwn. Lol...sorry I didn't post any pictures or any comment I was really tired after I had my surgery. Overall I am doing quite well. My doctor was awesome my tummy is so flat and so tight that it was hard for me to stand up the first day at the my surgery.I'm up and moving around I even gave myself a sponge bath. At the moment I'm moving all around my house I'm still confined to upstairs because this is where the bathroom at. but for the most part I think I'm doing well. My belly button is NICE. Here r some updated pics and btw i hate tha drains. Can anyone tell me how to change it from not sure to worth it. Updated on 30 Sep 2014: Hello everyone been a few days since i post a comment....went to my first appt and they took one of my drains out....,.the one that bothered me tha most tha right one and it feels so much better. On my next appt he said tha left one should be coming out soon....im still a bit swollen but thats to be expected cause im 6days post op. This is just like having a baby i still move slow and can stand up a lil str8. Im just gonna take it easy and let it takes it course til next time ladies. It still scabby and when i shower it softens and and u can see the skin under the scab. Now how long do it normally take before all the swelling go away. Im 3weeks to this date post op of my tummy tuck. My skin is still really tight but im worried bout the swelling cause it make my tummy look lopsided it. Here are some pics and if anyone have any suggeestions im open for them.. also should i buy a new compression garment??????
After my second pregnancy I was not happy w/my body took me a while but decided to go for breast reduction and tummy tuck. I had it done with Dr.Pennino turned out wonderful and I would do it all over if I had too. I highly reccomend him. Surgery went very nice recovery was very smooth he sent me home w/pain pump which made my pain and recovery very easy. Nurses call to check up on me. I never had to wait when calling them or having to schedule. It was a very pleasant experience.
My name is Anastazia White and I had a tummy tuck done by Dr. Pennino back in May of 2015 and I still to this day don’t like my results. I payed almost 6,000 and I feel as though I should’ve saved my money and found a different doctor to do my tummy tuck. I also had muscle repair with my procedure. Dr. Pennino is a very nice man but he just plain and simple didn’t do what he promised me and I upset because I expected what he was telling me. I was supposed to get liposuction with my procedure and it wasn’t giving to me. When I spoke to Dr. Pennino about it and told him I wasn’t able to come up with the money to pay for the anaesthesia again he told me not to worry about it and go ahead and schedule with his scheduler. So I did and once I got home his scheduler name Rachelle called me and said she forgot to get my payment from me land I told her that Dr. Pennino said not to worry about it because he was owed a favor down in the O.R and she basically called me a liar. She said he would never tell me that and I told her well he did and all she had to do was ask him. Of course she didn’t and I looked like a liar. Dr. Pennino didn’t back me up and I had to cancel my procedure due to him not being honest about our conversation. The problem with my tummy tuck is I needed liposuction and my scar going towards my hips are to high. My scar it to high to hide and it’s just time for me to let others know if your are looking to get this same procedure done go somewhere else. Please don’t have this done to you what was done to me. After my first check up it wasn’t with him it was a different place called Plastic Surgery Group of Rochester out in Pitsford, Ny where all his patients go for their follow up, I was seen by their medical assistant by the name of Tracy and she told me that my scar was to high. And by the way she told me that Dr.Pennino also did her tummy tuck. Tracy tried to reassure me that I was gonna look get and I appreciate that from her but here I am 5 years later and every time I look in the mirror I feel disappointed and discussed with my results. I should’ve just saved my money and went to someone else but you don’t know any better when you are being promised great results. So just be very aware of what could happen to you if you are reading this. I going to look in a lawyer because I need some type of answers. I am not satisfied and in need to be compensated for this botched surgery.
After working out for years and never making a dent in the belly I chose to go thru with tummy tuck and lipo from the flanks. First dr I saw was $1500 more and did NOT include an overnight stay. After my experience I cannot imagine NoT staying in the hospital format least one night. My surgery was scheduled for 3pm. It didn't start until 4. I was in recovery room for 1.5 hours bc of reaction to anesthesia. Updated on 15 Nov 2014: I have a pain pump and drains in. Kind of gross to look at. My kids (9 years old) were grossed out but have gradually adjusted. Was on 2 Perciset until yesterday. It was making me feel sick to my stomach and unable to get up out of bed (because I didn't feel well). After talking to the nurse she suggested stop taking The narcotic and take 2 Tylenol then 2 hours later take 2 Ibuprofirn. She also suggested moving around. It totally helped. Last night I made it thru the night without any medication (besides the pain pump which delivers meds directly to the site). I also have been drinking diet coke- it helped me burp which is the gas left over from the anesethia. Looking forward to getting the drains out and the pain pump (I think). Updated on 18 Nov 2014: Went to the doctor and they took out the pain pump. The pain removing it want that bad. Feels soooo much better to not have all those tubes hanging all over me. Was impressed how it helped- didn't need any narcotics after the first day. Took Tylenol and Ibuprofein and was surprised that I still wasn't in pain- so I backed off of everything and am fine- no med!! Updated on 25 Nov 2014: I am feeling ok physically. It has been a challenge to be cooped up in the house and not able to drive. I am able to drive now- had to be able to stand up out of a chair, close the car door (couldn't do this for a while b/c it required leaning forward), turn to the right and left, etc. Now that I can drive it helps emotionally. The other emotional challenge has been my childrens emotions. One is scared of me with the drains. She doesn't say it but her avoidance tells me so... eventually she admitted it. She is my momma's girl so the pain there was hard. My other daughter saw the scar and said in the innocent way kids do- "you traded in your belly for a long scar?" Today at a random moment it all hit me and I cried and cried. I'm hoping they come around eventually. Updated on 25 Nov 2014: My phone hasn't been working to type a whole lot so I saved these on paper and am re-writing them. I got my last drain out!!! I feel soooo much better- can move around more and am happy to not have them hanging off of me and pulling the drain site (ouch!) Yesterday my kids and I started "training" for our trip to Disney- our plan is to walk a lot so we (they) can handle all the walking. It's also great motivation for me to start moving more. I have been wearing a Vivofit for a few months now. Before surgery I was usually at a minimum of 10,000 steps without working out. I had worked out before the surgery (Turbofire, Vinyassa Yoga, running 5K's) and never saw any results on my stomach. I would go through cycles- work out like crazy, get depressed about results, quit working out, repeat. Anyway- prior to the surgery i was a 10K steps. Since the surgery I have been at 6K for the most part and working my way up to 8K. Yesterday (Sunday) during our walk it allowed me to get to 11K. Felt great the whole time!
