Dr Amalfi is absolutely incredible. I had a prior breast aug about 15 years ago and recently breast fed my first baby for one year, so as you can imagine I was well overdue for an upgrade. I instantly felt at ease within the first two minutes of meeting Dr Amalfi - I fully trusted her and knew I made the right decision choosing her. Having implants at the time of my consult, I was not able to try on different sizes to help determine which size to go with. I told Dr Amalfi what I was thinking, she provided her expert opinion and squeezed me in for surgery two weeks later. I am OBSESSED - I absolutely love them! I have struggled with my body post baby, and I can truly say I finally feel confident, beautiful and comfortable in my own skin again! My entire experience at the Quatela Center was amazing - Dr Amalfi and her entire staff went above and beyond to make me comfortable and confident I made the right decision.
I had a consult with Dr. Amalfi on March 11, 2025. After 3 c-sections and weight loss I felt it was time to look into a mommy makeover. From the time I called to inquire, the staff was amazing. I dealt with Dr. Amalfi's scheduling coordinator, Melissa, who helped me through scheduling and just general questions about the process. At the consult, Dr. Amalfi and her staff made me feel at ease. Having people look at your problem areas can be intimidating but I felt very comfortable. She took the time to address my concerns and came up with a plan. I was ready to have the surgery done asap and they happen to have a cancellation in 6 days so I took it. Everything went seamless even though we only had 6 days from consult to pre-op and all the in between details for a major surgery. I am now almost 4 weeks post op and already love my results. My recovery was fast and problem-free. I would go through this process again with Dr. Amalfi with no hesitation. It was worth every penny and pain that comes along with a major surgery!
Dr. Almafi was fantastic throughout the entire process of my mastopexy (breast lift w/auto augmentation). She has a caring and comforting bedside manner. Dr. Almafi personally called to check up on me the night after my surgery, which speakes volumes about her character. I just had my 3 month post op. appointment and my results are better than expected! I'm glad I chose to go through this journey with her!!
As a 34 year old, mother of three little ones (5, 3, and 1) who breastfed for a total of four years, the full perky breasts I once had were now deflated and no longer perky. I longed for a full breast appearance and a nipple in a more aesthetic location. Dr. Amalfi executed my wishes to perfection with the nipple placement, nipple size and overall breast appearance that I desired. I opted for Motiva 425CC implants on the left and right breast. A bilateral lift was simultaneously performed at the time of the implants as well. Galaflex aka the internal bra was also used to help maintain the perkiness over time. My main two concerns were the incisions, which even at just 2 weeks out are healing up beautifully, along with caring for my family afterwards during recovery. I had surgery on a Friday, and my kids were back at home on Saturday night! I had my husbands help for the remainder of the weekend, but come Monday morning I was able to find a way to get through my day without lifting, or straining. This included getting two kids to and from school while navigating the day with the 1 year old! The recovery was much less painful than I anticipated and would only describe the pain as soreness and discomfort. I can’t say I was in “pain” at all! And if my testimonial wasn’t enough… my brutally honest 5 year old told me that she “likes my new ones better because they’re not ‘down’ like my old ones.” I’m beyond happy with the result and overall experience with Dr. Amalfi. I immediately felt sexy again and proud to have done something for myself! Updated on 29 Nov 2024: Photo is before and at 3 week post op appointment. Before I wore a C bra but barely filled that out. After I’d say i am a Full D or small DD. At 3 weeks I can resume any and all activity as long as it is comfortable to perform.
I am 3 months out from a mommy makeover, I am 32 years old, I have had two kids so my breast lost all its perkiness and fullness! My stomach wasn’t by any means huge, but there was extra skin and fat that I just couldn’t get rid of. I couldn’t take looking at myself in mirror or wearing certain clothes anymore. I finally looked around at surgeons i ultimately looked at multiple different ones and I was brought back to Amalfi, she was where my gut was telling me to go, and meeting with her, got rid of any doubt or fear I had, she was WONDERFUL, talked me through the whole process, what size would look good with my body frame. She reassured me of everything and I never felt more comfortable! She called me the night hours after my surgery to check up on me, the office is so fast at getting back to you with any concerns in healing process, and we’re always quick to listen but also reassure that everything was ok. 3 months out and I’m obsessed with looking at myself in the mirror, always wearing shirts that show my stomach and cleavage! I’m in love!!! And so happy and would absolutely recommend Ashley!
Dr. Amalfi is exceptionally talented. She has a vision and does well to explain how in what ways she can help with areas you aren't happy with. She is realistic and compassionate in the process of helping you become your best self. I am truly blown away by my results and I am only 3 weeks post op. I feel like myself pre-kids. I can't state my gratitude to her and her team highly enough!
Dr. Amalfi was excellent throughout the whole process. The entire staff at Quatela really helped alleviate any anxiety I had leading up to the procedure (extra thanks to Melissa :)). The results were outstanding!
Dr. Almafi and her staff were amazing! I wasn’t sure if this was something I was going to actually do. I always wanted to do it but I was also nervous. During my consultation she me feel so as ease that I decided to go for it. It was an amazing experience and I wish would have done it even earlier.
I am absolutely thrilled with the incredible results from my recent tummy tuck and breast augmentation performed by Dr. Amalfi . From the initial consultation to the post-operative care, Dr. Amalfi and her team demonstrated exceptional professionalism, skill, and compassion. The transformation of my body has been nothing short of amazing. I now look in the mirror and love what I see. The procedure has not only enhanced my physical appearance but has also significantly boosted my confidence. I feel more excited about my looks and more confident in myself than ever before. Dr. Amalfi's expertise and attention to detail are truly remarkable. They took the time to understand my goals and delivered results that exceeded my expectations. The entire experience was seamless, and the care I received was top-notch. Thank you, Dr. Amalfi, for your outstanding work and for helping me achieve the body I've always dreamed of. I highly recommend your services to anyone considering plastic surgery.
Dr. Amalfi is so amazing. She makes you feel so comfortable and supported every step of the way. She’s honest about what is realistic for your body and what to expect based on factors specific to you. I’m beyond happy with my results and am so glad I had the ability to have a bad a** woman surgeon! Had breast augmentation with galaflex.
I like to be very cautious with my patients who have other medical concerns. I strive for a HbA1C of 7 or lower. Ideally, I like something around 6. Poorly controlled diabetes makes you high risk for both infection and poor wound healing as well as capsular contracture, complications that typically are very low in a standard breast augmentation. Have a discussion with your board certified plastic surgeon about this, and also consult with your Primary doctor or endocrinologist to help optimize you for the best result possible.
This sounds like a very large implant for a small frame. The problem with implants that are sized too large is that over time, especially as you are young, this heavy implant will push against your own native breast tissue and cause atrophy, or loss of that tissue. It is important for my patients to choose an implant that fits their frame. An implant this large is likely too wide for you and can make you look top heavy, which women don't want. Have a discussion with your doc and always feel comfortable getting a second opinion.
I believe strongly in a vertical breast lift. This really helps cone the breasts and create a more natural breast shape. I have found that lifts around the nipple only can flatten the breast, and the scar tend to stretch and widen with time producing a large areola. The vertical scar heals beautifully and tends to almost disappear for my patients. My recommendation would be augmetnation with fat transfer to the breasts and a vertical lift of the left breast. Due to your size difference, I would recommend a small reduction with a similar vertical scar to your right breast to give you symmetry and better harmony of your breasts. Make sure to choose a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, as this is a surgical case that requires some expertise and experience.
I find that having a direct discussion with your surgeon about your anatomy and goals is the best way to determine size. Your doc can measure your base width ( which appears to be about 11-12 cm) but needs to be finalized during an in person examination. Choosing a moderate plus projection is the most natural, and fitting into that breast footprint will give you a natural result with good cleavage and tasteful "sideboob." In the MENTOR Breast implants which I prefer, that would be between a 250cc and a 325cc M+ Implant. Make a consult and have a discussion about expectations with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to determine the exact right fit for you.
We are telling all patients to self-quarantine before and after surgery for at least 7 days, ideally 14. This means limiting all unnecessary gatherings, errands, etc. I am all for a mani, pedi, especially before surgery, but I would urge you to do your homework. Go to a reputable spa, make sure they have good safety measures in place, and plan it about 14 days before surgery to ensure your safety. Its important for you to be well before surgery so you have the best recovery.
