Is Chin Liposuction the Solution for Me? (photo)

I am a 24 year old male. 5'9" and 138 pounds. I'm really skinny, but my jawline is not defined at all and I have a small double chin as well. It's really bothering me. I'd like to have a defined and chiseled jawline I usually hold my head a little pushed forward to hide it but I'm assuming that's not so good for my neck either. I tried doing different kinds of neck- and jaw exercises but they didn't work. Can a chin liposuction be the solution?

A: Chin implant and liposuction of the neck work very well together.

Hi.

Just going by your pictures, you should have a lot of improvement with an extended anatomical chin implant (put in through a small incision under the chin) together with liposuction of your neck.  It's a short safe operation with a quick recovery.

How Would Having Chin Laser Lipo Tighten my Skin Better Than Regular Chin Liposuction?

What other benefits would I see after having a chin laser lipo?

A: Laser lipo vs standard chin lipo

There is limited scientifc support of any kind that suggests laser lipo causes adequate skin tightening.

What Are the Best Chin Liposuction Techniques?

What techniques for chin liposuction have a lesser chance of adverse effects?

A: Chin Liposuction

When there is fat under the chin, traditional liposuction using a syringe or a machine can be used to extract the fat.  However, using a laser with a tiny fiber optic beam of light (the size of a strand of spaghetti) is my preferred technique becuase it causes much less bruising and less downtime.

In my opinion, there is an advantage to using the 1440 nm Smartlipo (laser) because the wavelength of this laser is very attracted to water in our skin.  This helps not only melt the fat, but also tighten the skin.
