I'd like to have an - Internally placed chin implant.. to have no scars - Be able to see it be placed while in the operating room... so I can see that I like it. - Have a little bit of height added. (Been told not possible) - Use a size 2 Am I going to have a hard time finding a good surgeon to do these requests? I had a rhinoplasty, but my nose is still big... So, I'm looking to do something else to make it appear smaller. Revision rhino is also an option to make it smaller, but I dunno.
I would not permit someone to visualize and as you imply direct a chin implant procedure let alone any procedure I would contemplate performing.
I would consider a jaw implant, but can it be done under a local anesthetic. What type of implant would widen my jaw?, What are the risks and do they need replacing after a certain period of time like breast implants do.
I do not feel a jaw implant can be placed and fixated with the techniques we presently utilize easily under local Anesthesia. Presently I think I would prefer general anesthesia for placement of a jaw implant. This is different than a chin implant.
I am getting revision rhinoplasty to fix a bad job caused my septum to totally collapse. Also the original work made it way to feminine. I know it's not easy to just imagine, but the nose is just going to be more of a right triangle as a opposed to the slide it is now. When I look at my profile i notice that harmony between my chin and nose is minimal, and I fear that after surgery the chin will look even smaller. Would it make sense to get a chin implant?
Your mouth is open on the side profile with your teeth not being closed. The open mouth/jaw has the effect of making your chin seem smaller than it is.A good lateral photo with your mouth closed will be helpful.
