I only have incredible things to say about Dr. Mustoe!!!

First, I came to him about concerns over my eyes. I’ve had hooded eyes my entire life, and it’s genetic, eventually causing ptosis later in life. My family members have all had corrective surgery.

As I began to age, I noticed my eyes getting more droopy, making me look older, sleepy, and hiding the appearance of my eyes.

I came to Dr. Mustoe for a few reasons - he has incredible experience with a phenomenal background, has developed a unique approach to upper blepharoplasty for natural results, and he had incredible before and after results / patient reviews.

Dr. Mustoe went above and beyond my expectations!!

Shortly after receiving my quote and consultation, I faced some financial challenges that required me to revisit the approach.

Dr. Mustoe incorporated my budgetary needs with my desires, and combined that with that he knew based on his almost limitless experience, what the best approach would be. I was fully confident that he wouldn’t take any risks, and that if I were not in the financial place, I knew he would NEVER cut corners and would be honest with me.

This transparency is part of what sets him apart from all the rest!

After that, I was ready for surgery. I opted for the in office procedure where Dr. Mustoe and his incredible nurse, Marissa, were there to support me in every way possible that day. I felt the space was clean, comfortable, and their demeanor was warm and assuring. They assessed me and made sure they did what was right for me - a very well tailored experience.

During the procedure, it was absolutely painless and quick!! I came to shortly after where Dr. Mustoe and his nurse welcomed my fiance into the room to come pick me up. It went so smoothly, I couldn’t believe it.

I was tired the rest of the day, and slept with my head elevated, rotating ice 5 mins on 15 mins off. Keeping the wound moisturized as directed kept me from feeling uncomfortable.

On the day after my operation, I was groggy from the meds the day before, but had no pain that I couldn’t manage with ice. I was medication free, resting, and felt comfortable. Now, I wouldn’t be running a marathon, but I was shocked how comfortable I felt.

Fast forward a few days, I got my stitches out. I was absolutely in awe of the results. They were above and beyond my expectations!!!!

My experience was incredible. Dr. Mustoe made me feel heard, he understood my desired result, and has a gentle yet assuring approach.

I would recommend anyone to Dr. Mustoe who desires to have work done on their face. I was nervous searching for the right doctor, but I knew I found the right person when Dr. Mustoe took plenty of time to talk with me about my concerns and desired outcome.

I returned to see Dr Mustoe for my implant exchange surgery as he did an excellent job with my breast reconstruction after a bilateral mastectomy. I moved out of the country and traveled back to Chicago for this surgery. I would not have had it any other way! Dr Mustoe did a fabulous job this time around as well.

Dr. Mustoe is the absolute best! I got a rhinoplasty and he did an excellent job. I feel so confident with my nose and it looks so natural, also while diminishing the insecurities I had with my nose. The recovery time was very fast - not much pain, minimal swelling, and my bruising was able to be covered up after 5 days.
I get so many compliments on my nose and everyone is always asking me who did it. I 100000% recommend him to everyone!!!

Amazing! I was super hesitant about plastic surgery, a tummy tuck in particular given the scars, bad belly buttons, and stories of intense pain I had heard, along with the head trash of my own. But after three kids in four years, and endless physical therapy and personal training that never fixed my back pain or inability to button my jeans after eating or drinking anything, despite perfect nutrition, I knew it was time. So 6 years after the birth of my third child, I researched every plastic surgeon out there, in Chicago, New York, and LA. I am so glad I settled on Dr. Mustoe. Doctor Mustoe spent over an hour in my initial consultation explaining the recommended procedure in detail. The results of my facelift were extremely natural. Exactly what I was looking for and the results actually get better as time goes on.
I receive many compliments on my appearance although no one can tell I have had surgery.

Dr. Mustoe is an amazing and talented doctor. I decided to get an opinion from Dr. Mustoe after having septoplasty surgery with another doctor to repair a deviated septum. Prior to this surgery, I was assured that the outside of my nose would not be changed. After the surgery, I noticed that I had a dip/collapse in the bridge of my nose, known as a "saddle nose". This can be caused by removing too much of the septum. I decided to get an opinion from Dr. Mustoe. I liked that he had a lot of overall experience and specifically in the area of revision rhinoplasty surgery. I wanted my nose to look like my nose again. I also wanted my breathing to be the best that it could be. He spent an hour with me, discussing what could be done to improve my nose. He listened to my concerns. He seemed very knowledgeable and honest. I felt reassured and confident in his ability. I appreciated that he liked natural looking results and didn't recommend significant changes to the look of my nose. Dr. Mustoe performed a revision rhinoplasty. I am very pleased with the outcome! My breathing has improved and I didn't have much pain, bruising or swelling. My nose looks better than I thought possible!

Dr. Mustoe and his staff are phenomenal! I’m under 45 yrs old and went to see Dr. Mustoe for a deep plane mid face lift and rhinoplasty. This was my first experience having cosmetic surgery and Dr. Mustoe and his staff answered all my questions and addressed any concerns I had. The surgery center was excellent as well, they provided top notch care. My main concern was ensuring my results looked natural, of course. I’m a little over 1 month post-op and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Very natural looking, I still look like me but better! I was in excellent hands with Dr. Mustoe and would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Mustoe is top tier. I ‘ve seen Dr. Mustoe over the years primarily for scar correction which I needed after years of Kenalog treatments from an derm, and some acne, too. He has always been empathic, kind, very knowledgeable and cautious. He has a professorial thing going, for sure. He has helped me immeasurably throughout the years. Feel very lucky to have found him. He’s a tall drink of water, too, which you will find out when you meet him. Sorry to go off topic. To sum up, he’s one of the best. :)

Currently 6 months post op from rhinoplasty/septoplasty and the entire experience has exceeded all expectations. Dr.Mustoe has been incredible from day one. I visited with 4 plastic surgeons, and I knew right away Dr.Mustoe was the one I wanted for this procedure. He really listened to exactly what I wanted, which was to still look like myself, yet enhanced (reduce overall size of the nose and fix deviated septum). I was very neurotic about not wanting anyone to know I had the procedure, yet still have meaningful results. He did exactly that!! Not one person has noticed (at least they haven’t mentioned) and I couldn’t be happier with my new nose!

Dr. Mustoe spends time with you to answer your questions and explain procedures. Suggest thinking about your questions ahead of time, writing them down and then you can take notes. Ask about recovery time, how nerves will be affected, side effects, and what you should expect. I had several procedures done the same day, and was very pleased with the lower face and brow lift results. Dr. Mustoe also follows up with you post surgery to assess your outcome and satisfaction.
