I had a brow pexy over a year ago. I now have very hollow areas directly under my brows. What could have been done to prevent this. How can it be permanently fixed? I am a 52 year old female.
The pictures show and area of hollowing after your browpexy. It is hard to say if the surgery itself caused it. To treat soft tissue deficiencies your options include temporary fillers such as Restylane, Radiesse or more permanent procedures such as fat grafting that require slightly more invasive procedures.
Good luck
Okay so all my life i've wondered why I look good in some photos and really bad in others, until just in this past year I finally clued in that my eyebrows are significantly assymetrical which has really been effected my self-confidence. Anyways, the problem is that my "good side" is the side with the lower eyebrow, and I would do anything to get my other eyebrow to rest the same way. I'm looking for a permanent solution. I've heard about a reverse brow lift but I don't know much about it or how
Yes I see the asymmetry. Try Botox first than possible direct excision lifting as easy answers. Open forehead lifting more involved.
I had a coronal browlift done about a year ago. I know it is more invasive and the old timey way but can it be reversed? The reason why i chose this as opposed to endoscopic is because i wanted a bigger forehead. Only problem now is that my brows are too high.
I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience. The good news is that it can be reversed by doing the reverse operation while freeing the posterior scalp and advancing it forward towards your brows. The surgery is more extensive and at times fixating the brows into their new position is required.
You should see an experienced board certified plastic or facial plastic surgeon to perform the procedure!
Good luck
