I recently had a revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Zhurvasky. My primary rhinoplasty was 10 years ago with a different surgeon and that surgery left me with a deformed nose, so it was very important for me to find the best of the best for my revision and I am so glad that I found Dr.Z. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Dr. Z is not only a great surgeon, but he is a great person. He is caring, patient, honest, and kind. Since the day that I had my initial consultation with him, I felt comfortable and knew that I wanted him as my surgeon. He took the time to explain everything in detail, starting with how the inside of a nose is structured. My surgery took about 4 hours, and I’m glad that he is one of the few surgeons that only do 1 surgery in a day, it gave me peace of mind knowing that my surgery was not going to be rushed. Everybody in the office was amazing during my recovery process (shoutout to Barbie and Valeria). He has built a great team for his patients. I’m still very early in my recovery but I am already so pleased with the outcome. I finally have a straight nose! Most importantly, my nose fits my face and it looks natural. I am so happy that I chose Dr.Z as my surgeon. If you are considering a rhinoplasty or revision rhinoplasty, I highly recommend Dr.Z. I spoke to other doctors, specifically, another popular one in the area and was basically told that the results that I was hoping for cannot be achieved with the “level of deformity” that my nose had. Today, I look in the mirror and I am relieved to see that my expectations were exceeded.

I usually never write reviews for anything but the amazing treatment I received while visiting his office was a breath of fresh air. When it comes to this type of procedure, most doctors are arrogant, dismissive or not willing to explain details to you. Dr.Z on the other hand not only spoke with me over the phone twice before meeting in person, but he also never seemed annoyed or made me feel like I was asking too many questions. With a procedure as serious as something on the middle of your face, one would think that it’s important to know every single detail. Unfortunately, many doctors do not feel this way. I wish I had known for my first surgery I had with a different doctor the importance of this. Thankfully, Dr. Z encouraged me to ask questions and never made me feel like what I was asking for was not important. He understood the effects that a bad surgery can have on someone’s well being, and spent over an hour with me discussing the potential outcome and possible game plans. He took professional photographs of my nose and set very realistic expectations for what he can do. Most doctors don’t take the time to do this and will just show you what you want to see. I appreciated this, especially being in such a vulnerable position it’s easy to believe anything that is said to you, even if it’s unrealistic. He explained to me the risks and never made it seem like he was trying to sell the surgery or pressure me into doing it. If anything, he encouraged me to take as much time as possible and to meet with multiple doctors after him to get other opinions. He genuinely cares for his patients which is hard to come by in an industry like this. Lastly, his wife Barbie is one of the sweetest human beings I have ever come across. She recognized as soon as I stepped into the office that I needed to talk and sat down with me to comfort me before the appointment. She made me tea and gave me snacks which really helped put me in a better head space to explain my situation. The hospitality I experienced here is something I will never forget, I am so thankful I took the time to visit in person. If you are looking into a revision rhinoplasty or anything regarding the face and need an honest, professional opinion, dr. Z will not disappoint!

First off. When I was searching for a surgeon for my rhinoplasty I wasn’t looking for just the best in Florida I was willing to travel anywhere in the WORLD! I did about 5 in person consultations from all corners and was soooooo happy to meet Dr Z and his wonderful assistant Barbie, finally I found someone who met my probably Overly high expectations!! I was researching the best for about a year and I knew I would settle for nothing but the best!!!! I mean come on it’s my face we are talking about!
