Dermabrasion for Ice Pick Scars?

Does Dermabrasion work on ice pick marks on my face?

A: Fixing the ice pick scars first then dermabrasion later is the best order.

Ice pick scars are best treated with punch grafting them first then about 6 weeks later , dermabrading them to blend them into the surrounding skin.

Pigmentation differences after dermabrasion on one cheek

A Year Ago I Had Dermabrasion on One Cheek. I had hypopigmentation and now one cheek is obviously lighter and it is difficult to apply make-up that matches. I am considering dermabrasion on the other cheek. Any advice?

A: Most hypopigmentations after dermabrasions are temporary.

Most times when you get dermabraded your skin gets lighter or darker than the surrounding skin,  doing another dermabrasion on the other cheek isn't a bad idea to match the two sides.

A: A real dermabrasion goes deep into the skin with the skin raw and oozing for a week.

Real dermabrasions go deep into the skin and cause raw , oozy wounds  which look like when you fall down and scrap your knees.  They do great for improving scars.  Micro laser and micro dermabrasions are very superficial and look like nothing happened and are good for maintenance of the skin .
