Ok, this review may be a bit long because I have so many great things to say about my experience! I had silicone injected in backside over 14 years ago and over the years my backside got bigger, wider and looked disgusting. Not to mention it started to spread to other parts of my body.

I searched and searched for a doctor to take it out but the doctors I found either wanted to cut it out leaving my body deformed with huge scaring or charge me a ridiculous amount of money to take it out using Lipo suction method. I also didn’t get a good vibe/energy when consulting with this doctors. Until I found Dr. Raffy!

I am so so blessed to have found him. From the consultation to the day of the procedure and post op, he has been AMAZING! He listened to my concerns, answered all my questions and cared for me in the way a family member would throughout the entire process. I know he has a lot of celebrity clients and I’m definitely not a celebrity but he made me feel like one when I came to see him.

I traveled from FL to see him and get the procedure done and I would do it again and again!! The entire experience was amazing and the care he provided is invaluable. The facility is GORGEOUS, he and his staff was so nice and took really good care of me.

After the procedure, I was in a little pain but the next day it was like I never had surgery. I was able to cruise around LA just fine! Now the results….AMAZING!! He has Miracle hands for sure! My backside now fits my body, it’s not super flat, I now have a beautiful and NATURAL looking shape, the incision was super small and undetectable and I now feel confident walking outside knowing that people won’t stare at me or judge me.

Ive been crying tears of joy ever since this procedure and it’s all thanks to Dr. Raffy!!! Again, he is amazing! If you are looking to do biopolymer removal please don’t waste your time on any other doctor. No matter where you’re at in the world, it is 100% worth traveling to see Dr. Raffy! I’ve had other cosmetic procedures done and have traveled all over the world for certain procedures but my experience with Dr. Raffy has by far been the BEST experience I’ve had!!! Thank you thank you to Dr. Raffy and your team. I will forever be grateful for you!!

I am so thankful to Dr. Karamanoukian …he helped me understand the issues I’m having with my Bellafill injections from another provider.
He gave me hope to be able to reduce my nodules and scar tissue. But at the same time, explained how Bellafill works, and the problems it can cause by trying to remove or “laser” the area.
His work and medical research on filler problems is greatly needed for thousands of women. He is trying to publish several research papers to help women understand the risks. We need more doctors like him!
I am a victim of Bellafill improperly injected, undisclosed risks, and I’m paying the consequence. The provider at Ashtoria Aesthetics who injected my Bellafill told me it was all in my head, and nothing was wrong. Why would someone even do that?
Dr. Karamanoukian helped me feel validated, and that he cared about me and my situation. I will definitely be going to him for Bellafill treatments. It’s nice to know there are trustworthy doctors still out there.

I've been dealing with the results of overfilling with Metacril (a product similar to Bellafill) and silicone injections for 15+ years. I've had numerous surgeries, and the fix for this is overwhelmingly simple. He did a series of injections to bring down the volume and the results speak for themselves. The combo (Kenalog, verapamil, collagenase) isn't a permanent solution, but in the experience I've had with this, 5FU prevents new tissue formation. My plan is to have one more injection to bring down additional volume and then try 5FU to keep it gone.

The cost per injection was about $300 and I've had two so far. I'll have one more and then do 5FU. I'll update the cost when I am finished with treatment.

The results looked good for awhile, but now that the swelling has returned I’m not sure this was worth it. The Kenalog is too rough on my skin for this to be a longterm solution.

Over 5 plus years ago l, was injected with Bellafill by another provider. Due to my trust and ignorance I didn’t think much of it as they presented it as just a long lasting filler. Little did I know not only was it Permanent but was basically plastic being injected into my face. So it posed the same complications that silicone injections can have. I was also injected in all areas that were “off label” and not fda approved for Bellafill. To my horror over the years my body began to reject the bellafill, forming hard nodules and eventually granulomas on my forehead and under eyes. I was even more horrified that it could not be dissolved like the HA family of fillers. I was put in and off antibiotics and a few steroid injections here and there. After that nightmare I did not want to return to that provider as I felt they had no interest in treating this on going problem. Over time I became very depressed as my face was almost unrecognizable. The constant edema and granulomas coming and going were maddening. I saw many doctors to try to help fix the damage that bellafill has caused. Slowly I have been able to undo much of it. However, after two years out if the blue the granulomas popped out all over my forehead. That is what is so scary about that product is there is no predicting how you’ll respond and it NEVER goes away. After researching on real self I found Dr Raffy specializes in treating late onset complications from these awful permanent fillers and silicone. I felt so relieved to find a provider I felt could help manage and give me the best treatment options. Upon consultation he was beyond knowledgeable, friendly, kind and HELPFUL! He examined the granulomas on my forehead and my under eye area. After some discussion, we felt it best to start the treatment with a series of steroid injections. I will continue to see Dr Raffy for the management of this complication and he said once the time is right I could be a candidate for excision of the areas that bother me the most. I’m very thankful to Dr Raffy and finally feel at ease knowing I have a Karing provider that will help me navigate this terrible complications these Bellafill injections caused me. I highly recommend Kare Plastics and Dr Raffy to anyone suffering from any type of permanent filler or silicone injections. I hope this can help inform others to stay far away from Bellafill. After years of searching for the right surgeon to remove silicone from my lips that had become asymmetric, fake looking and were distracting from my face. I consider myself so fortunate to have found Dr. Karakamoukian. I knew immediately that he was the one after my first consultation, as he was so intuitive and responsive to my self-consciousness and concerns. My lips look 1000 times better, completely back to natural and I couldn't be happier. I only wish I had found him sooner. I have since trusted him to address other concerns as well and have been 100 percent satisfied with the results. Dr. K is a true talent and a wonderfully kind and caring surgeon.

If i could give this doctor 10 stars i would i had my procedure march 24 just yesterday a procedure that i spent years postponing for the anxiety of. Seeing so many pictures and cases with bad results terryfing stories everywhere i checked every doctor that do silicone removal in colombia guadalajara miami usa i researched All of them rios gomez castilla pachon diaz paz juliana navia santos gallerani tansar mir hughes katzen and many more even in houston where there is a couple all of them specialists on biopolymer removal from buttocks i did consult some of them what bothered me the most is the responses of some of them basically with an awful attitude implying that i deserved this problem and the consequences and whatever your results are is what you have to live with because your stupid decisions i hated it i was already traumatized by the way the "cosmetologist" that put me this poison in 2008 lied to me saying it was collagen reabsorbible harmless i was already feeling stupid and ignorant for believed those lies i will regret that the rest of my life and i dont need a reminder of that incredibly dumb decision so i kept looking i did research on dr raffy karamanoukian too i used his creams too and when i went to pick them up and saw that beautiful and expensive looking office i felt intimidated i guess i tought i was not going to able to afford it but kept and eye on his insta and his work finally i went to an apointment thru realself i have to say is the best dr ever he treated me with compasion respect excellent attitude actually listened about my concerns he has the kind of vibe that make you feel SAFE wich i needed the most and his quote was very reasonable had my surgery today i can not believe that it took me so long to decide to go with this doctor raffy karamanoukian is the best at this ny surgery went incredibly smooth and the staff is awesome he literally saved my life my depression and anxiety were so high because of this problem i will post pictures when i finish my process but i wanted to do this post for all the silicone inyection victims to let them know that you dont have to be disfigured or cutted like a loaf of bread that this doctor CARE and focus not only on the health part wich is obviously the first thing but he put atention to the esthetical part i know all the cases are different with different symptoms and concerns and level of damage to the tissue that is the thing with this poison that no case is the aame some are more affected than others so what worked for one maybe will not work for another but the interest dr raffy showed on give me a esthetically good apearance to my buttock was what sold me to do my surgery after all that was the reason i did that dumb decision in the first place to look good and is still important to me dr raffy karamanoukian is the best so grateful and already feeling better

Up and walking! I can not believe it i am with some bruising around and in my lumbar zone but thats it the incision dr raffy made i couldnt even see it i felt it when i took a shower i have my revision on monday so excited! I never ever tought my recovery was going to be this easy i have some discomfort but that is all cant wait to see my results !!!

I am so lucky I found Dr Karamanoukian! After two decent, but asymmetric rhinoplasties I tried silicone injections by a “top nose doctor” in Beverly Hills to avoid another revision and the final result (after three injections) left my once feminine, refined nose- bulky, more masculine, chronically inflamed (swollen), in pain, and discolored (purple) on one side. It was so depressing!! I was gutted and hopeless. What a stupid, expensive mistake! But what I didn’t know then, was that this horrific experience with silikon 1000 would be the blessing I needed to lead me to the surgeon who could get me the results I always wanted. That surgeon is Dr Raffy Karamanoukian. He was a godsend. A miracle worker.
Although I was hesitant at the thought of another surgery- I knew I needed to get the silicone out ASAP as it would only get worse with time. Finding an expert surgeon.. and an expert silicone removal specialist like Dr Karamanoukian was hard, and again, I’m so lucky I found him. He made me feel comfortable and confident about the procedure from the beginning. He is nothing short of genius. A whip-smart and master surgeon who is damn good at what he does. You can tell by his passion, warmth, sincerity and intelligence that he was born to be a surgeon. It’s almost effortless for him (he makes complicated surgeries look easy). Dr Raffy and his amazing staff always answered my hundreds of worrisome questions and anxieties with patience, support, and loving care. Yulia and Gwen were my emotional support team and scheduling rock stars. I have so much gratitude for everyone there. They were incredibly supportive before and after surgery.
Now for the actual results: so not only did Dr Raffy surgically remove the insane amount of liquid silicone from my nose (I’m so happy it’s out), but he also straightened my deviated septum (which I didn’t know I had) AND in his expert, artistic, subtle way, refined the asymmetries to look more balanced, feminine, and natural. AND to top it off yet again, I still look like myself- not a different person/nose. All of which I didn’t think was possible!! I’m still shocked I have such a beautiful nose now. Looking in the mirror is actually pleasurable. He gave me my life back. My mental health back. This saga is over (thank God).
I highly recommend Dr Raffy Karamanoukian. Go see him and change your life for the better!

So I’ve always had an issue with the fact that my top lip is so much smaller than my bottom. Turns out my jaw is not even and the bottom half juts out making my bottom lips so much bigger.
Well if I was afraid of having my jaw broken and wired shut before I’m definitely not doing it in a global pandemic.
So I decided to get lip injections. I already knew that my top lip would not get to where I want it in one sitting and I wanted to ease into things so I wanted a half syringe.
Everything was really easy and everyone was super friendly. You had to wait outside because they were enforcing social distancing which was fine with me!
Went in and had my lips numbed...the Dr. BTW knows how to make you feel like the most beautiful person in the world. Gotta remind to find myself a man the made me feel the way Dr. Karamanoukian did!
I was so nervous and I was shaking because I HATE NEEDLES. Absolutely hate them but when it was done....wow.
He even gave me a little extra (no charge) for my bottom lip to add some shape! Literally amazing.
By the time I left I could feel it starting to swell. I just iced it and went to bed. The next morning my lips were SWOLLEN but I liked it.
Since then I’m seeing the real results and I absolutely love it. I’m definitely going to go back in a month for my touch up.
So happy!!!

Amazing doctor. I have been seeing Dr Karamanoukian for years. My son has also been seeing him for acne scars. We have been to so many doctors in Los Angeles and would not ever go
To anyone else now that we have found this Doctor. Trust him completely. He has so many lasers and options to help with wrinkles and acne scarring. He will give you honest opinion and is very smart and genuinely cares about you.

Dr. Karamanoukian is a brilliant doctor, and his center is perfectly named: Kare Plastic Surgery. I’ve worked with a few different doctors and none have cared more about me than he does. I saw him to clean up after the mess another doctor made of me, am currently recovering, and am much happier already. He performed a septoplasty on me. He’s very smart, and good at what he does. He, unlike doctors that are after the biggest profit and want to up sell you, talked me out of certain things because he didn’t think they would make me happy, and instead offered other less invasive options that would suit me better. He’s a good person. I don’t say that lightly. He cares about his clients. His entire staff is ABSOLUTELY incredible Every single one of them. Fantastic people. I feel like part of a family there. Everyone is down to earth, kind, and create a warm and inviting atmosphere. They listen to you. I’m always laughing and happy when I’m there. I’ve had amazing results with Elizabeth and the Sublime laser too. I cannot recommend this doctor and his staff enough. They are amazing people and amazing at what they do. After a somewhat traumatic experience with a different doctor previously, I wish I’d found Dr. Karamanoukian sooner, but I’m happy I at least found him now. He has integrity and is helping me correct the other doctors mistakes and find confidence and happiness again.
