Answer: Best treatment options for hyperpigmentation scar 3 month is very early in the scar maturation process so you can expect ongoing improvement for some time. No treatment for the pigmentation should be needed, but hydroquinone is an option if you felt the need to try something. If the pigmentation persists, laser treatments can be performed, but it is very premature to consider this at this time

Scarring has a maturation cycle of approximately one to one and a half years depending on the patient's skin. An examination would give you more information about what can be done.
