I’m a 26 year old female, 5ft 7 and 170lbs. I have had 4 pregnancies and 2 years ago I had a c section (first c section) it left me with an overhang in my pubic area. I wish to have a tummy tuck to firm my stomach and mainly to remove this overhang. I never had this overhang after my natural births, just after my c section which ruined my stomach. I also want liposuction from my waist at the same time. Is it possible to have this done at the same time and lift my overhang in pubic area?
Answer: A full tummy tuck and panniculectomy would address your concerns. Hello and thank you for your question and pictures! There are some nice surgical options for improving the abdominal area including a full tummy tuck (which is the most dramatic option) and liposuction. To answer your question, they can remove that area at the bottom of your abdomen. This is usually a procedure within itself and is not usually included in a tummy tuck. Both are great options for you! There are also some nonsurgical options such as laser treatments and injections.

It's very common after a c section for a tummy tuck to be needed, but also after multiple pregnancies. When we gain weight and have children we stretch out our abdominal wall muscles, which we can't fix on our own. During a tummy tuck your surgeon will tighten up the abdominal wall muscle remove the extra skin and they may do some liposuction on the flank area. Most Surgeon will not do too much lipo at the same time in the midsection area because they don't want to compromise the blood supply going to the abdomen. I typically recommend some additional liposuction as soon as 3 month post tummy tuck. The supra pubic are will be lifted a tiny bit at the time of a tummy tuck. I would recommend seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in person to evaluate you and discuss your options. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Tummy tuck and mons lift Dear Terrific409839 it is absolutely possible to have a tummy tuck with liposuction, to tighten the abdomen, sculpt the waist, remove the scar from the C section and lift the mons pubis.It happens post pregnancy unfortunately. I would recommend regular pilates exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor and core muscles for a longlasting result
