There are some nice surgical options for improving the abdominal area including a full tummy tuck (which is the most dramatic option) and liposuction. To answer your question, they can remove that area at the bottom of your abdomen. This is usually a procedure within itself and is not usually included in a tummy tuck. Both are great options for you! There are also some nonsurgical options such as laser treatments and injections.

I would recommend that you see a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area that is a member of both ASPS & ASAPS and performs a lot of tummy tucks. Good luck with your future correction!

Thank you for your question. Looking at your pictures I do agree your a great candidate for a tummy tuck procedure. It's very common after a c section for a tummy tuck to be needed, but also after multiple pregnancies. When we gain weight and have children we stretch out our abdominal wall muscles, which we can't fix on our own. During a tummy tuck your surgeon will tighten up the abdominal wall muscle remove the extra skin and they may do some liposuction on the flank area. Most Surgeon will not do too much lipo at the same time in the midsection area because they don't want to compromise the blood supply going to the abdomen. I typically recommend some additional liposuction as soon as 3 month post tummy tuck. The supra pubic are will be lifted a tiny bit at the time of a tummy tuck. I would recommend seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in person to evaluate you and discuss your options. Best of luck to you.

Dear Terrific409839 it is absolutely possible to have a tummy tuck with liposuction, to tighten the abdomen, sculpt the waist, remove the scar from the C section and lift the mons pubis.It happens post pregnancy unfortunately. I would recommend regular pilates exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor and core muscles for a longlasting result

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. generally speaking, tummy tuck will not lift pubic area . If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

A tummy tuck will lift the pubic area and specifically raise the hairline. The surgeon should make the lower incision at least an inch belies where you c section scar is to avoid this.

Yes, when you go in for your consultation, be sure to discuss the pubic area as well. Some surgeons charge extra for this, and some include it in the tummy tuck.
