Meet Dr. Ko
33 Years in Practice Dr. Ko’s exceptional education, training and experience has enabled him to become an excellent Plastic Surgeon. He completed his undergraduate studies at The Pennsylvania State University obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biology. His Medical Degree is from Drexel University School of Medicine (formally Hahnemann University School of Medicine). He completed a rigorous 5 year General Surgery residency training program at The Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, which was affiliated with The University of Pennsylvania’s Hospital known as HUP. While at The Graduate Hospital he Served as Administrative Chief Resident in his final year and was named Best Teaching Resident 2 years in a row. This was followed by Plastic Surgery Residency at University of Massachusetts Hospital (UMASS).
Dr. Ko is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Maintenance of Certification. Which is a maintenance program that cycles every 7-10 years. He is also a member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons (NJSPS).

Happy with my results - wish I had made this decision years ago Breast Reduction

I had finally made a decision on my breast reduction (after shopping in Academic Hospitals) to go with SkinMD and Dr. Ko. I can't say enough WONDERFUL things about Dr. Ko. He is professional, caring, extremly thorough, empathic and understanding of the emotions around these decisions. The surgical center is top-rate and they are with you from the moment you open the door. Maddy (Surgical Coordinator) and his surgical team are EXCELLENT, you are certainly seen and heard in this practice and they take excellent care of you before, during, and after!! Dr. Ko or one of his nurses were in constant contact with me after surgery and I have already had 3 post-op visits with Dr. Ko and his nurse(s). I am extremly happy with my results and wish I had made this decision years ago. As I continue to heal they are right beside me at any time. I can't thank Dr. Ko enough for my life-changing decision.

The treatment I received from Dr. Ko was nothing but first class treatment. He answered all of my questions and concerns and was very professional in regards to the procedures that I had done. He not only called me the next day after my surgery but I had received several calls from him weeks after my procedure. I had never received this kind of bedside manner from any physician in my lifetime. I have to say he did a phenomenal job with my tummy tuck & liposuction. For a long time I researched surgeons and I’m so thankful I made the decision to go thru surgery with Dr Ko and his team including Madi, Michelle and all the others. After having implants done 12 years ago in California, going thru IVF to have my son, breastfeeding, exercise and fitness training, I was so unhappy with how my breasts looked. They were so far apart and my breasts were practically in my armpits!! I would be nicknamed armpit titties!!! It really affected my self esteem until NOW! I am beyond pleased with my results and Dr Ko exceeded my expectations. He’s great at what he does and has the best bedside manner that I’ve ever seen in a surgeon! The entire process ran very smoothly and recovery went great. They truly have a great team. I am so happy with my breasts, fits my physique and they are so close together!!!
