The staff was warm and welcoming. Dr Addona seemed knowledgeable and explained the process in detail. I especially appreciate that he trains residents and allows them to do hands on office procedures in which I was a participant.
The office staff was warm, friendly & welcoming. Dr. Addona explained my options and then I asked for his recommendation, I went with what he suggested. He explained what he was going to do and where he would be injecting me, I felt totally comfortable and at ease. He was extremely gentle with his application, and it was a good experience for a first time Botox user. It’s only been a couple of days and I love my results. I would definitely go back and have a few other things done. I highly recommend NYPSG for any cosmetic procedures you are thinking of doing. Dr. Addona and his Team are the BEST!
The minute I consulted with Dr. Tommaso Adonna I felt confident making my decision to do a breast augmentation. He was knowledgeable, profesional and friendly. He listened to concerns about doing the procedure, my needs and most importantly my expectations for the result I wanted to see and how I wanted to feel physically and emotionally. Moving forward a couples of months I am ecstatic with the result. I chose the cup size, but he gave me his input and it felt great just trusting him. My breast looks beautiful, natural, proportional to my body. His job exceeded my expectations and am only left wondering why I didn’t do it sooner! Another reason I chose him it is because of the line of patients he helps. It made it easier to trust him. Forever thankful for Dr. Adonna!
I loved Dr. Adonna from the moment I stepped into the office. He does a lot of work with breast cancer patients which is how I first learned about him. He did my mother’s breast augmentation after a double mastectomy. The office is super clean with wonderful staff all around. Dr. Adonna, although he’s part of a bigger practice, makes sure to spend time with each patient. He immediately made me feel comfortable and answered all of the questions I had. I was unsure of a lot about what I wanted and he guided me through without any pressure. Everything went well with the surgery and I have minimal scarring. He also made sure to check in and be available any time. My aftercare went well and where her I saw him or the PAs in the office I was very happy and couldn’t ask for more. If I decide to do any other procedures I will absolutely go back to him.
Within the first 5 minutes I knew this dr. Was the one who was doing my surgery. He was so kind and you felt important and not just another patient that was in and out; he fully explained everything and made me feel comfortable going through with it. I would refer him to anyone and everyone. My results are beyond! I’m so so happy! Can’t wait to do more!!
I got a breast lift with implants in March of 2022 and I am very pleased with the outcome so far. It’s a procedure I’ve wanted for as long as I’ve had breasts. My implants are 10621-355MP (355cc) Sientra, smooth round moderate profile silicone implants and the lift was a circumareolar lift. Dr. Addona and his team at Long Island Plastic Surgical Group were extremely professional and comforting. The recovery was a little tough due to having to fully rely on others to help with basic tasks, but after about 2 weeks I was able to do most things on my own again. I would absolutely recommend the procedure to those considering it as long as the appropriate amount of research is done before hand. I also 100% recommend Dr. Addona.
I’ve posted multiple reviews for Dr. Addona and his amazing staff and will do so as often as I can. Double mastectomy, multiple revision surgeries and I do not think I could have been in better hands technically, emotionally and at ease with. He set clear expectations of what was possible and what wasn’t and why. Accessible anytime to answer my questions and concerns which I am sure I asked multiple times. Incredibly patient, kind and mindful of his responses. I am amazed at what he has accomplished in giving me back what I lost physically and not just stopping at allowing me to look good in clothes. Dr. Addona and his staff have my undying gratitude and should I need anything cosmetic, or hopefully never again medically, I have only one place to look. Even his tik toks are informative! Thank you, thank you.
I have been a patient of Dr. Addona for approximately 2.5 years and he has been my personal angel. I had a double mastectomy and reconstruction with a diep flap and my results are amazing!!! I’ve had the worst time emotionally dealing with my diagnosis but Dr. Addona has always been a phone call or text away. His PA’s Jess and Katy have been equally amazing. This team has really helped me get through the worst time of my life. I now consider them my family!
Always prompt professional and courteous and provides important information to ensure my understanding of the process. This makes me feel comfortable and confident with my decisions on procedures and choosing Dr Addona as my surgeon
I can’t thank Dr. Addona enough for the excellent job. By your skill and talent you have given me something I never dreamed I could have, a body that makes me smile when I look in the mirror!… You are a wonderful Plastic Surgeon.
Thank you for your question. Every surgeon is different when it comes to post-operative care, so it is important to ask these questions. It is certainly reasonable to undergo a cosmetic procedure without the use of opioids if you are concerned. With my patients, I use a long-acting nerve block called Exparel which tricks the body into thinking you didn't have surgery for up to 72 hours. Most of my patients are able to get by with just using extra strength Tylenol. If something of additional strength is needed, medications such as Tramadol can be prescribed. I recommend speaking with your plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns.
Thank you for your question. With breast augmentations in patients who are very active like yourself, I recommend placing the implants above the muscles. This will reduce the implant shifting into the axillary region as well as the pectoral muscle animation. I recommend speaking with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.
Thank you for your question. Based on the photos provided, I believe that liposuction to your flanks would give you the snatched, hour-glass figure you are describing. I recommend speaking with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.
Thank you for your question. With any breast implant procedure, you can expect discomfort and swelling intermittently within the first year. New activities such as upper body workouts, laying on your stomach, and even coughing can cause a short period of additional discomfort as the pectoral muscles are working with the added tension of the implant depending on if the location is above or below the muscle. If you are experiencing extreme discomfort, I recommend speaking with your plastic surgeon about your concerns.
Thank you for your question. With the coverage of a panniculectomy, you would need to cover any additional surgical time, cost, etc. I recommend speaking with your plastic surgeon to discuss your options and cost.
