Can I even get a tummy tuck? (Photo)

Hi, you look great by the way but I understand what your saying. It would be easier to evaluate you if I had a photo of you sitting down. It makes it easier to see how much excess skin you really have above and bellow the belly button.
That said, a TT is the only procedure that will address the stretch marks around you navel. It will get rid of most of them and then pull the remaining stretch marks down towards the pubic area. BUT, I don’t think a TT is a real option for you. Your belly button is a bit high, and you do not have enough excess skin above your belly button for the skin to stretch all the way down. This means your scar will end up way to high.

If you want to get rid of fat and tense up your skin, Vaser lipo could be an option because it might help avoid excess skin after lipo. And J-Plasma might me a better option as far as skin contraction.

Sometimes a Mini TT is a good idea if there is only excess skin on the bottom part of the belly. I really like an inverted tt as well for patients that have excess skin on the top portion of their tummy.

Only a traditional TUMMY TUCK gets rid of your stretch marks but you don’t have enough skin for it. If you are ok with keeping the stretch marks but wish to get rid of fat and make the skin tighter, vaser lipo and or J-Plasma are better options.

Hi, thank you for sharing your question. You are a great candidate for Liposuction and don’t seem to require a tummy tuck based on your photos. You will have an excellent result with Vaser liposuction. I hope this helps!

A full tummy tuck may be performed to tighten the loose skin above and below your belly button. Fat removal is not necessary.

Thank you for your questions and photos. A tummy tuck will address excess skin & repair of the abdominal muscle. The abdominal wall can be weakened after pregnancy and (or) significant weight gain & loss. By repairing the muscle, not only does the appearance of your abdominal area improve, but your core strength as well. The repair of the muscle will cinch your waist like an inner corset, which will accentuate your curves. Liposuction will remove excess fat from unwanted areas with some skin retraction. Based on your photos you do not appear to have enough skin laxity to undergo a traditional tummy tuck. However, the skin above your belly button could be addressed by removing the excess skin which would require a scar above your belly button. I would recommend seeing a board centerfield plastic surgeon for a consultation.

There appears to be a muscle separation (diastasis) in addition to the skin laxity in the central part of your abdomen. There aren't any great options to improve the skin specifically, but a mini tummy tuck with umbi float will enable a complete diastasis repair and some smoothing of the skin.

No other procedure, or intervention, will give you the improvement that you are looking for. An in person evaluation will help to clarify how that would work for you and what the recovery will be like. Talk to at least two Board Certified Plastic Surgeons with experience in this procedure before you decide.

It is difficult to say without an in-person examination, but if you have good skin elasticity and are at a healthy and stable weight, you may be a good candidate for a tummy tuck to remove loose/saggy skin.
