I am 47 years old w 3 children born naturally. I am 125 pounds and 5’6” . I was wondering if there are options for the saggy skin around my belly button. My stomach is not so much overweight as loose skin. Would a tummy tuck work for me or is there another option? Thank u
Answer: A tummy tuck would work nicely for you A formal impression consultation would be best to make any real treatment plan. You appear to have an athletic build and a mild amount of excess skin and may be a candidate for a mini abdominoplasty with a shorter scar. Based on your photographs there may be a small separation of the muscles in your abdomen which would be common after having 3 children. Repairing this would also help to improve your abdominal contour. It would require an person examination to confirm this.

Answer: Loose skin on the abdomen Thank you for your question and photos. The only option for tightening skin on the abdomen is abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). No other procedure, or intervention, will give you the improvement that you are looking for. An in person evaluation will help to clarify how that would work for you and what the recovery will be like. Talk to at least two Board Certified Plastic Surgeons with experience in this procedure before you decide.

Answer: Morpheus 8 Hi there, thanks for your photos. I would look into Morpheus8, which is RadioFrequency Microneedling. It helps with skin tightening and texture. You may need up to 6 sessions.

Answer: Tummy Tuck & Liposuction Thank you for your questions and photos. A tummy tuck will address excess skin & repair of the abdominal muscle. The abdominal wall can be weakened after pregnancy and (or) significant weight gain & loss. By repairing the muscle, not only does the appearance of your abdominal area improve, but your core strength as well. The repair of the muscle will cinch your waist like an inner corset, which will accentuate your curves. Liposuction will remove excess fat from unwanted areas with some skin retraction. Your expectations and health will dictate the best procedure(s) for you. I suggest a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to go over the options that best address your goals. Answer: In person evaluation An in person evaluation is really best in your situation in order to determine the amount of loose skin present. You may do well with a skin tightening procedure such as BodyTite, or perhaps a mini tummy tuck. I encourage you to begin by visiting with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation.
