I am going in for a face lift and brow lift soon. 12/26 is my plan. I see doc next week to make final decision. Also is my vision going to be effected for long? How long should I allow for recovery?

Answer: Facelift and browlift recovery Definitely do the facelift and browlift at the same time if both will improve your appearance. Combining them does not prolong the recovery and often doing more gives a more balanced and natural result. Your vision should not be affected.

Answer: Facelift and Browlift Thank you for your question. Adding a brow lift to a facelift really doesn't add much if anything in terms of recovery- it is a common combination that I perform (adding a full face laser to the facelift and brow lift as well adds a little bit in terms of redness to recover from) but it should still be an uneventful recovery. It also shouldn't affect your vision- if you have a blepharoplasty in addition it may add some swelling and the ointments that are put on can make things a little blurry on the night after surgery but other than that it shouldn't affect your vision. As far as recovery, everyone is a little different. Generally by one to two weeks, you can put makeup on and go outside without much worry. Best to speak to a board certified plastic surgeon. All the best.
