5 days ago I had blepharoplasty, and a midfacelift with lipo suction to the jawline. I feel my face look worse now than before I had the surgery. My left side (where my mold is) of the face is more swollen and square shaped than the right side of my face. The right side is swollen but not square around the jawline.

It doesn't appear as if you have a hematoma or abnormal amounts of bruising so I would just be patient to see where you result ends up.  It will generally take around 2-3 months for all the swelling to resolve.  At this point I would say that you look good.

I appreciate you concern, but way too early to worry!  The first week or 2 after facial surgery involves lots of bruising and swelling that needs to resolve.  Stay patient and positive!  Good luck!

It is still too soon. You may still have some swelling, which will slowly resolve over the next several weeks and can be asymmetrical. I do recommend following up with your surgeon about your concerns. I hope this helps.

Hi there Thanks for the question. Firstly, too early to judge so don’t fret. Usually liposuction of the neck must be done cautiously. The results may be variable and not long lasting. Wait 3 months at least. Good luck

Thank you for sharing your photos and thank you for your question. It is much too soon after your procedure for you to see an end result. Typically, you will look worse before you start to look better. On average, swelling can last up to 6 weeks and it is completely normal for swelling to be asymmetrical, as our faces are asymmetrical to begin with. You will want to be careful how you are sleeping. Leaning more to one side can also cause asymmetrical swelling.
