Dr Dahiya is an expert on the face, that’s ALL he does are faces. He is that good so he doesn’t have to do other things other than the face, if a Doctor is working on my face medically I want that person good enough to make a living doing just that and not that as well as all the other things he does to the body! He will keep you young looking and not over do it , so it’s not noticeable, you will continue to look natural , not stretched or fake looking. You can have anything done and have your husband sit in the lobby waiting , even a mini lift, without a clue as to what you are having done, and he won’t figure it out, even after he sees you come out. The other big big plus is that there won’t be noticeable scars!! I highly recommend Dr Ravi Dahiya of Bethesda MD , I used to live in Springfield in Northern VA close to DC Metro Area but now moved to North Carolina, I drive up to for my appointments to The Beat Plastic Surgeon for Dr Dahiya in Bethesda Maryland for my Botox, Mini lifts , Vampire Facial, fillers, if it’s face related be smart choose Dr Dahiya Best Cosmetic Surgeon in the Washington Metro Area.
Dr. Dahiya is an excellent, compassionate doctor. He does not rush your appointment, listens to your concerns and actually takes his time with you and listens. I just had laser resurfacing under my eyes to help with the elasticity of my skin and the bags under my eyes. I am very pleased with how the process has gone so far and will definitely be seeing him in the future!
Dr Ravi and his team of medical professionals are the best! No one ever wants to get the bad news that that you have CANCER but Dr Ravi handled it with such compassion and empathy. He put my mind at ease with his knowledge and expertise. I had 3 areas of early stage skin cancer successfully removed on both of my arms and chest area which included a combination of surgery and C02 Laser treatment. My sincere thanks !
I have been going to Dr. D since 2013. Have had several procedures and have always been very happy with the results. Dr. D always takes the time to explain everything as well as answer any questions. His staff is excellent and always makes me feel like family.
Dr. Dahiya is an Accomplished and Masterful Plastic Surgeon. I had a facelift to diminish jowls, a double chin, and wrinkling of my neck. I selected a surgeon who promised that his work was impeccable. The results were horrible! My jowls and double chin were not significantly improved, the bottom of my earlobes had been left open to heal on their own which caused my earlobes to look as if they were dripping toward my neck; but worst of all, the volume of fat in one cheek was almost gone so that my face appeared deflated on one side, and my face had been pulled higher on one side than on the other, giving me a twisted look! Any beauty I had before the surgery was gone. My face was so distorted that I was devastated and very depressed. The plastic surgeon admitted that he did not have the expertise to revise and correct the mistakes and neither would any other plastic surgeon. I told him that I would search for someone to revise my facelift and he stated that I could consult with any and all plastic surgeons and none of them would be able to help me. He left me with no hope. In retrospect, I believe he discouraged me from seeking help out of fear that I would reveal his name and consequently cause him embarrassment, humiliation, or possible damage to his practice. I found Dr. Dahiya and made an appointment. When I met with Dr. Dahiya, I was so distraught and overwhelmed with grief that I could not introduce myself. He waited patiently until I was composed enough to speak. He examined my face and reassured me that he could make the corrections. He said that it might not be possible to achieve a perfect result but that he could make a great improvement. In “one procedure” Dr. Dahiya performed a facelift to tighten the facial muscles, he adjusted my face so that one side is no longer higher than the other, in the cheek that had volume loss, he adjusted the fat pad to regain volume to most of the area, he diminished my double chin and jowls, gave me normal earlobes, and made a revision to scars left by the first surgeon!! The first surgery lasted about 5-6 hours and Dr. Dahiya masterfully performed his corrections in a little under 2 hours! He could not fully address the small area in my cheek that needs more volume with a fat transfer which would be done in subsequent procedures. In two very short procedures, Dr. Dahiya has transferred fat to increase the volume in that area! I am currently recovering from the second procedure and Dr. Dahiya will assess the results to determine if I will need a touchup. Prior to meeting Dr. Dahiya, I felt as though my life was over and now, Dr. Dahiya has given me my life back!! Not only is Dr. Dahiya a masterful plastic surgeon, he is also kind, humble, patient, and understanding. My only regret is in not having discovered him first!
Very happy with my results and the doctor was patient, knowledgeable and took his time. The customer service was awesome starting from the first phone call. I will definitely come back for more procedures!
Dr. Dahiya is a kind and charismatic gentlemen. Yesterday I came to him with some concerns for my facial symmetry. We discussed my overall anatomy and decided on a small amount of filler to do initially. I was very pleased with his knowledge of options for me, he seemed very well versed and his experience was evident. All of his staff members are gorgeous women and upon entering I immediately knew I was in good hands. He advised me not to do too much at once and that small increments would be best, in order to assess the way your body adsorbs and/or reacts to it. I went with Sculptra and am so far very pleased with it. I have some other things that I would like to have done, initially I planned to travel; however I am now very comfortable in choosing Dr. Dahiya for them. Side note: the office is a beautiful home on a corner lot. It is very welcoming.
From the first second you walk into Dr. D's office you know this will be a great experience. The calming and charming home provides a comfortable environment for what can be (for me at least) an uncomfortable conversation. Dr. D and his staff have the utmost professionalism but have a calming demeanor that allowed me to ask questions and fully understand my procedure (one that I had put off for years because of poor consultations at other doctors). The day of the procedure was a wonderful experience. The team thoroughly explained everything I needed to know and the room was extremely pleasant. The procedure went exactly as planned and at 10pm that evening I received a nice call from Dr. D himself, personally calling to see how I was doing and answer any questions. Two months post op I have had two follow ups which have been wonderful. I cannot recommend Dr. and his staff highly enough. Thank you Dr. D.
Dr. D is literally the best. The second you walk into his office (which is so chic and has a great vibe) you are instantly put at ease. All of his employees are SO nice and helpful and Dr. D is the icing on the cake. Very professional but also makes you feel like you're just having a casual conversation. I really could not recommend Dr. Dahiya and his team any more. Don't waste any more time, go see them.
Dr. D is the BEST. It can be difficult to find a doctor who makes you feel like you are their number 1 patient/priority every time you see them. Dr. D truly cares about his patients and their results. Going above and beyond to check in even after hours. Dr. always takes the time to listen and is thoughtful with his responses.
To echo what others have said - either Botox or a browlift will help with the brow asymmetry the former on a temporary basis and the latter of course for a more long term solution. I would emphasize the concept of overall facial asymmetry. Everyone has asymmetry in their faces and bodies of course that varies in how much and in the specifics of which features. As you have noted, you may notice more "drooping" on one side and that usually correlates to the side where there is a smaller underlying bone structure. So having said all of that there are lots of great new much longer lasting fillers (Sculptra and Bellafill) which can help address facial asymmetry without the need for surgery if it is of concern. The good news is that there are lots of safe and very effective options. Best of luck.
Botox around the mouth can be very tricky. Sometimes the results of even a few units can be amazing but other times little or no result is seen. Moreover, using too much can yield unwanted consequences. Fortunately though lip lifts are fantastic. The results are consistently good in terms of raising the upper lip to provide more tooth show with smiling and for giving the appearance of more fullness. The scar from the incision hides exceptionally well under the curves of the nose/nostrils. I would find a surgeon who has done many of them and get a consultation in person. Best of luck.
I have been performing PRP with and without ACell for many years now. I have found both to be effective with the combination overall more so. However, it is difficult to quantify the difference (meaning is it 20% percent better than say 50% better) because to begin with we are often seeing improvements in the quality of hair not quantity per se. This simply means a lot of the hairs that are miniaturizing are made thicker again which gives the hair much more body or volume. The injections do not yield new hair where there are none to begin with. So this simply makes it harder to measure the changes after treatment (the hair density or # of hairs per square centimeter do not change). Also I tend to treat my tougher cases with the combination of PRP and Acell which biases my results. Having said all of that there are studies in the literature which corroborate what I have seen in my practice showing the combination treatment to being more effective. This is believed to be because the ECM or protein scaffold that Acell works in synergy with the growth factors in PRP to stimulate stem cells and improve growth of the hair follicles.
Though you have provided one photograph it would of course be better to have a full history and see you in person. Overall you obviously still have "good" hair, having said that as others have mentioned with hair loss it is much better to be proactive and prevent loss rather than to wait for it to worsen. This is particularly true with PRP because it is such a safe and easy treatment.
Based on your pictures I definitely think you are a great candidate for a lip lift. That is based on the length of your upper lip which is really the distance between the bottom of the nose and the edge of the upper lip. You would see two benefits from the procedure - a shortened distance between the nose and lip which will improve the overall proportions of the face and the appearance of a fuller better defined upper lip. I think your lower lip is full enough to provide an overall balance between the two.
