What Can I Expect From A Neck Lift Revision With Excess Skin and Scar Tissue? I had a necklift 1 1/2 yrs ago. I had a wierd look right after under my chin, dr. said you need a vy plasty to remove more skin. Looked great for a week and then more of the same almost like a hinged look. Went to another dr. yesterday and he said I have a thick band of scar tissue under chin and excess skin. My dr. wants to redo and he is not even mentioning any of these problems. Dr. yesterday said this is tricky because of the scar tissue. Will this scar tissue cause me problems later?

It is hard to say what the scar band in the neck is about without an exam or a photo. When two consultations vary widely it may be best to get a third.

What is Wrong with my Neck? I Dislike My Profile. (photo) I am not really what sure is wrong with my neck. I am 29 and fairly in shape I have come to really dislike my profile. Is there anything that can be done?

A: Unhappy neck

You have a face with a convex profile, a feminine look overall. Though others would suggest a chin implant, you can have improvements with liposuction alone, especially while young with good elastic skin.

Do I Need Neck Lipo or Neck Lift or Face Lift? (photo) Here are my morphs done by a plastic surgeon

Questions: 1. Do I need a neck lipo or neck lift or face lift? 2. Do I have mouth protrusion(bi-max protrusion)? Is it severe needed to be corrected? 3. Do you agree with the implants? I am 32 male.

A: Liposuction or facelift

The multifacial implants look fine in the simulation. Yes you do have bimaxillary protrusion and extraction and orthodontics is an option and you might look into it as you are young. We would suggest a chin implant or a chin advancement and liposuction rather than facelift at your age.
