What techniques for chin liposuction have a lesser chance of adverse effects?
Thank you for your question. I have tried mulitle technologies over the years for the chin - traditional lipo, PAL, Vaser and laser assisted. I think the person doing the lipo and evaluation you to see if you are a good candidate is more important.
Currently I use the SmartLipo Triplex. I use in for all my neck liposuctions and facelifts. I hope this helps.
I am attaching two profile photos of me with my head in its normal position. I am an actor, and so having a tight chin/neck area is important to me. Right now, it is sagging and I want to deal with this, but I am not sure if this can be dealt with via lipo. If I am not a candidate for lipo, what other options do I have to deal with this?
Given the details you proveded, I would vote less for chin liposuction. Obviously, the problem is not so bad but given the competitive environment in which you find yourself, your concern and your proposed solution makes sense to me. Of course, nothing takes the place of a true consultation. I probably would be less enthusiastic about a chin implant if I were you, based on the photos you provided. Good luck!
I would like to get rid of my "double chin" but I absolutely cannot have time off from work and showing up there wearing pressure bandage after liposuction is simply impossible.
Are there any options that will allow me to improve the contour under my chin? I am 38, normal weight.
I think you would be an excellent candidate for a pure local anesthesia smartlipo chin liposuction procedure. In my office, this procedure takes 10-15 minutes, and we only have our patients wear the compression bandage for three nights. Results have been excellent.
