What Your Opinion About Laser Bra Breast Reduction? (photo)

What is anyones opinion about Laser Bra Breast Reduction? I am 21 and i am 5'3 and about 160 to 175lbs an is has a somewhat tiny figure and have not yet had children. I have upper back pain an sagging with my breast. I am a 34O in bra size and have been sized with professional's more than once. In addition i am getting a little bit depressed because i have a hard time fitting into clothing & bras. I want to know what would be the best kind of surgery would be an what size would be best. Help

A: laser bra

From your photos, it appears that you area a good candidate for reduction mammaplasty, although it would be helpful to see photos out of clothes. A few plastic surgeons may promote the use of the laser in breast reduction for marketing purposes, but the is no evidence that this is a superior technique to a traditional approach or that the results are any better. I would  be somewhat skeptical, but base your overall selection of surgeon on factors such as experience and photos of cases the surgeon has performed.

20 Days Post Op. Is It Too Early to Start Massaging my Scars? And When Will Swelling Decrease to be the Final Result? (photo)

I have 3 questions! I'm 20 days post Op (Breast Reduction), I was wondering if it is too early to start massaging my scars with creams? My second question is how long would it take for the swelling to go down? And my third question is if there's any chance for my breast to further reduce in size? Sorry for too many questions! Many Thanks in advance

A: Breast Reduction Swelling and Incision Line Care?

Thank you for the question and picture.

Congratulations on having undergone the breast reduction procedure; based on the picture it appears that you are doing well. You may find that the breasts may “settle” and appear smaller/softer within the next few months. You may find that it will take several additional months before you see the final results of the breast reduction surgery. It will take several additional months for the swelling to completely subside.

In regards to incision line care, it is best for you to ask your plastic surgeon;  you will find that every surgeon has his/her preferences.  Out of respect for your surgeon (and considering that he/she is ultimately responsible for your outcome) you should follow his/her “protocol”.

Best wishes.

It Has Been a Year and my One Breast is Still Draining and Bleeding What Should I Do?

I had a breast reduction 1 year ago a tiny spot on the right nipple area wont heal still drains and bleeds ,she operated a second time and it healed all but that same spot that still drains and bleeds

A: Draining/Bleeding 1 Year after Breast Reduction?

Thank you for the question.

I would suggest that you continue to follow-up with your plastic surgeon;  if this area remains a problem you may want to calmly and in a non-accusatory fashion ask for her diagnosis.  If your plastic surgeon seems uncertain you may want to politely ask for a referral  for a second opinion.

This type of situation is often related to retained foreign body (for example long lasting/permanent sutures)  or  unhealthy tissue ( fat necrosis).

In person examination will be important in making the correct diagnosis and treatment plan.

Best wishes.
