Thank you for your question.First, best to be a bit more patient, 6 weeks is early post liposuction. That being said, it could be still a small old clot trying to dissolve. Could also be some old fat being dissolved by your body (like fat necrosis). Could also be residual breast glands, called gynecomastia. Male breast tissue is common and liposuction alone will not remove the glands. Liposuction alone could have exposed the pre-existing glands. Glands are typically harder than fat. Glands are often removed with a small incision at 5-7 o'clock around the areola.Best is to visit your plastic surgeon.Kind regards,Dr. Marc DuPere, aesthetic plastic surgeon
Dear nickolasswanThank you for your question! The firmness can be scar tissue and or residual gland. Please follow up with your surgeon. With Warm RegardsTrevor M Born MD
Thank you for your question. It is very common to feels lumps in the area of liposuction after 6 weeks. They do tend to disappear with time but can take up to twelve month. Try to massage them and if worried see your plastic surgeon for reassurance.Kind RegardsMr Giorgio Netri
nickolasswan. It sounds like normal subcutaneous scar formation after liposuction, not to worry. Check in with your surgeon. Good luck!
No, there is no need to be worried as this can happen after liposuction and will resolve gradually. If you have ongoing concerns, please see your surgeon.
It is not uncommon to feel lumps after lipo. It can take several months for those lumps to settle out as the swelling subsides.
Gynecomatia surgery is one of the most common procedures we do at our clinic. In most cases, the chest is soft and smooth after the surgery. However, it is certainly not uncommon to have some lumpiness under the skin, especially around the nipple area after surgery. In almost every case, this represents some swelling and some bruising of the remaining fat. In almost every case it will resolve over the following couple of weeks. We recommend lymphatic drainage massage to the area starting within the first few days after surgery. That makes the recovery process much faster. In rare instances, it's possible that some of the glandular breast issue under the nipple area still remains after the surgery. If that's the case, it's usually a very simple procedure to go back and get the rest of it. While possible, that is an un common occurrence. When you go back to see your plastic surgeon, he or she will no doubt know exactly what to do. Be patient. All will be well!I hope this helps! If you had gynecomastia there is always a component of fat and a component of glandular tissue in the breast. If you only had liposuction it is possible that the glandular component was not removed. Glandular tissue is not removed with liposuction. In any case this issue will become clearer over the next few weeks.

Thank you for sharing your question and congratulations on your procedure. After 9 days you are likely fine to start vaping without significant impact to your healing but smoking of any kind can hamper your scar maturation process so try and limit your use as much as possible.
Thanks for your question. Your concerns are unfounded. None of the studies done looking into this issue confirm damage to cells with the use of VASER liposelection. Male gynecomastia is typically improved with this technique alone if the amount of gland is minimal in fact. Hope this helps.
