Follow-Up: Will inverted nipple correct itself eventually? 1.5 months post Gynecomastia surgery (photo)

Question

It's been about 1.5 months since my Gynecomastia surgery. Only excision was performed. I don't have any before pics, but my nipples weren't inverted pre-surgery, they were just puffy. If I stretch my nipple then they pretrude. Will they eventually protrude naturally? Thank you all so much for your help. Your replies go such a long way!

It is early in your recovery period. I would recommend massaging the area to make sure that the nipple is not held down by scar tissue. Normally fully recovery takes 3-4 months.

It usually takes about 3 months for the final shape and size of the areola and nipple after gynecomastia surgery. Anytime you have volume/ weight pushing out on the NAC it will stick out more, removing this weight will make it flatten.  Scar massage will help the scar tissue settle.
