I had gyno removal 8 months ago by a plastic surgeon in my area. Ever since about 2 months post op it almost seems as though the gyno looks the same as before I got the surgery. I was not advised to do any massaging to the area, so Im guessing scar tissue? When unflexed there is a discrepancy on both sides, more so on my left though. When I flex, it completely goes away and looks like there is nothing there. My surgeon told me it is just muscle, but I have a hard time believing that. If it is scar tissue, is it too late to begin massaging at 8 months? My surgeon does not provide kenalog shots. I find it hard to believe that my unflexed chest would give the appearance of gyno due to the shape of my muscle. These pictures show what my pecs look like unflexed before I lost weight, unflexed after I lost weight, and what it looks like fully flexed after losing weight.
I had undergone gynecomastia surgery on 23rd Feb 2012. A few hours after the surgery the doctor discovered I have got a hematoma. As this PS uses drains after gynecomastia surgery a lot of liquid/fluid has been collected from my right side of the chest where hematoma is located. The drainage of the left surgery has gone down to 7.5 ml. But the right one is varying like on 2nd march discharge from the drain was 15 ml and the very next day it was around 48 ml. How long can it take to heal completely?
I was told by my doctor that i could start working out 2 weeks after surgery. He did a smartlipo and removed the gland during the procedure. The results are great so far im so pleased with it, its been a blessing not to deal with this no longer. How long should i wait before i you recommend i bench press?
I have to remove breast tissue growth but I am wondering if they only remove the excess breast tissue and not the normal cells. I am worried about uneven fat distribution if I gain or lose weight after surgery. Also i have seen incision across the chest and under, what is the difference? Thank you
Hello, Im a 41 year old male who had Gynecomastia surgery 4 months ago. I have an upcoming visit with my surgeon and honestly, I dont know what to ask other than Im a little disappointed. I had full gland removal and liposuction and as per doctors orders, work out and losing weight. I expect there to be some improvement but Im also coming to terms with the fact that this is my 95% outcome. Looking for guidance from the experts as my surgeon last time mentioned there will always be craters and my nipple/skin fold is from stretched skin. Should I consider a revision with my surgeon? Any specific questions I should ask? Also, what is the weird chord running down? I have it on both sides and my surgeon says hes never seen them. They appeared after surgery.
Due to some logistics, i can't do gyno and BodyTite/J-plasma at the same time. Since I am doing a tummy tuck at the same time with gyno, I want to minimize downtime. Can I do RF treatment to chest one week after gyno to help retract the skin more? If not, how long to wait and would that wait time affect the final result had I done the gyno and RF/j plasma at the same time? PS. my gyno will involve some niple left as it is big!
About me: 32 year old male (Height: 5 feet 9 inches | Weight: 200 LBS) I have a very severe case of gynecomastia and I'd like to know what are my options? I need the following: excess fat + gland removal from both sides, excess skin removal/tightening, reduction and repositioning of the areolas. One of the surgeons I spoke with recommended a male mastectomy with free nipple graft. I'd like to know if there's an alternative to the free nipple graft method.
