Can I use the steamroom 2 weeks post rhinoplasty? Or should I wait longer? Mine was a silicone implant, which I heard has a much faster healing time as compared to the other options.
Answer: Avoid Steam Room After Rhinoplasty At two weeks post-rhinoplasty, your recovering nose is still extremely vulnerable. I would advise that you refrain from entering a steam room or sauna for at least 6-weeks after your surgery. These communal facilities may have adverse affects that can cause a bacterial infection and that can increase swelling that would make your recovery unnecessarily long.

Answer: Steamroom 2 weeks after rhinoplasty I would consult with your rhinoplasty surgeon. With an implant, it is always better to make sure the nose is completely healed before exposing it to potential bacteria in a steamroom or other community type settings.
