In terms of the consultation process everything ran smoothly (especially as this is a difficult time with COVID etc). I wanted to mention my race to help and encourage people of colour who might, understandably be hesitatn. Black people tend to avoid this kind of procedure. We don't trust surgeons with our faces and we scar easily and visibly. Dr De Silva is very aware of this and gives great and specific guidance.
