Your left side appears more red than right and there may be more healing needed on that side. Give yourself more time.  If you massage area gently, with time it should go down.  It is too soon to consider surgery.    

Hello Sara,Thank you for your question. A swollen columella is common after rhinoplasty (especially if done by an open approach) and it can give the appearance of a hanging columella. The speed as to how quickly the swelling will improve is variable, but at the 2 month mark, is not unusual to have significant swelling.In my opinion, the best thing to do, at this time, is to be patient and massage the area (with your surgeons permission). Usually we don't recommend steroid injections to that area and would not consider a small revision procedure at this stage.Best of luck

It is not unusual to see columellar swelling following a rhinoplasty. Especially after an open rhinoplasty, swelling can last in this area 3 to 4 months. Your surgeon may have you massage this area. There are times when the swelling may persist and your surgeon may recommend a revision to minimize columella show. Usually this would not be performed for a number of months.
