I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Bublik. In June 2020 I got a primary rhinoplasty done. My nose had a convex shape to it and I preferred a subtly sloped, feminine shape. I am half-black and half-white, with biracial features that are most prominent in my nose. I expressed my concerns about not wanting to erase my ethnicity through the rhinoplasty surgery and he was very understanding. I asked him to avoid narrowing my nostrils as the widened nostrils were part of my cultural identity. He completely understood and had no desire to try to convince me otherwise. Dr. Bublik was my 4th rhinoplasty consultation and the first to not push me to narrow my nostrils, something that I was adamantly against. When he told me that he didn't think I needed my nostrils narrowed, I knew that he had listened to me in ways that other surgeons hadn't. Many surgeons can be focused on Eurocentric standards of beauty but when I presented my Biracial features to him, he understood that a more customized approach was necessary and did not try to pressure me towards a primarily European look, because I am not primarily European. The day of my surgery, we reviewed exactly what I wanted and he went above and beyond. That night, he called me to check on me and had been very caring during the entire process. I look back at other doctors that I had considered and am continually impressed with and assured of my choice of surgeon. I would send others seeking a rhinoplasty to Dr. Bublik in a heartbeat. Doctor Bublik did Dysport on my forehead and other places on my face that I had fine lines. The process itself was very smooth He was very gentle with the needle and did not feel any pain. I love the result, because he didnt push too much product on me just exactly the right amount. I’m going back in couple months.
