worried Dr over-rotated my tip or removed too much cartilage. I've been told the tip is supposed to drop as the swelling goes down, but I feel like mine is rotated too high for my preference. I did not want to come out of the surgery seeing any nasal passages from the front view. it is so upturned that it looks like a pig snout. Do you think it will drop further, more sufficiently to my liking? I've attached pictures of my old nose and my nose now, as well as how much I hope the tip drops.

Answer: Tip Rotation Please do not worry. Your tip will drop with time. Even at the present amount of rotation as visualized on your lateral view, it looks very feminine and attractive so you don't need to worry about it while you are waiting for the rotation to go down. Ask your surgeon and he/ she can give you a more accurate time frame on what to expect on the timing of the final result.Rest assured - your new nose looks beautiful on you !Best Wishes, Dr. Anna Petropoulos

Answer: Do you think it will drop further In many cases, the tip of the nose will drop during the healing time. This can take several months. This may be due to the resolution of swelling. Sometimes also stitches are placed to help support the tip which then dissolve. Gravity usually brings the tip down. It is always wise to wait and you may find that you're very pleased with your outcome.
