I believe your best option and first action step should be to consult a board certified facial plastic surgeon to receive the
highest quality knowledge, treatment, care and skill available. A consultation provides you the opportunity to relay your
concerns and desired outcome to the surgeon while the surgeon can assess your
health profile and discuss his/her pertinent advice. Keep in mind that many individuals are concerned about the look of their nose. You are not alone. Further, there are plenty of surgical and non-surgical options, one of which may fit your desired outcome once you consult a board certified facial plastic surgeon.

Thank you for sharing your question and photos.  From the views provided in the photographs it appears that you could  benefit from a rhinoplasty to remove the dorsal hump.  Additionally, if interested, nasal tip definition could also be improved.  If you are seriously considering a rhinoplasty procedure, I would recommend you consult with a board–certified facial plastic surgeon or general plastic surgeon as a complete physical examination, medical history and facial analysis would be required to make a definitive assessment.  Thank you again for sharing and good luck to you!

It is a common complaint that women do not like
the bump or hump on their nose. The bump is usually a result of too much bone
and cartilage. To treat the bump effectively, one would have to trim the bone and
the cartilage. Otherwise called a rhinoplasty. For a better assessment, the

Hi Chloe, From looking at your pictures it appears that you would be a good candidate for a rhinoplasty. This would involve removing the bump on your nose however other  things would need to be done to give your nose a natural appearance. It is very unusual to only address one part of a nose. During your consultation your concerns would be discussed and the surgical plan would be thoroughly discussed. Hope this helps.

 A closed rhinoplasty approach can accomplish shaving down the dorsal hump which is composed of bone bone and cartilage. Once the hump has been removed, osteotomies of the nasal bones are required to narrow the bridge line. The tip of the nose can also be narrowed as well to balance with the new bridge line. When it really comes down to it, most of us probably have something about our nose or facial appearance we would like to change.  Sometimes what annoys us most is something that other people hardly notice.  For someone who has concerns about how her nose looks, rhinoplasty surgery may be a great procedure. Trimming down the 'bump' that is so concerning is probably the most commonly performed part of a rhinoplasty operation. Sometimes re-shaping the tip can add a lot to the result.  There are other things that may be addressed during rhinoplasty surgery, and visiting with an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon who listens to your concerns is an important first step.  From the pictures you provided, you might be a very good candidate for this type of procedure.

Your problem is a common complaint from patients. The bump or hump is removed during a conventional rhinoplasty.My preference is for a closed (no scar) rhinoplasty. When a hump is removed there may be some changes in the relationships of other parts of the nose that may need attention.Getting a good surgeon is up to you. He or she should be board certifed by a board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). The two such boards that cover rhinoplasty are the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. The latter Board needs completion of Facial Plastic Surgery training.There is a American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery, but not recognized by ABMS. There is only one Board per specialty.Some docs may suggest a small chin implant. I would not be opposed to that, if on examination I think it would be beneficial.Do your homework and find a great surgeon..
