hi! i had my surgery in july 2020, i was 19 at a time w a bra size of 38DDD, i got an impromptu call to come get the surgery done, the surgeon did not take any before and after photos and also didn’t inform me what size she would be reducing them to. After the surgery nothing looked normal as they bottomed out right away, i also saw that i have dog ears and my boobs are way smaller than the proportion of my body, what would be advisable to do? I don’t want my boobs any smaller than they are at

Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. In our office, we use a protocol for scars that minimizes their activity in the 6-8 weeks after surgery. If you have late plastic surgery scars, you may also require laser and RF therapy to help reduce the longterm effects of the scarring. Keloids, hypertrophic scars, widened scars, red scars, and hyperpigmented scars all require scar modulation with topical creams followed by lasers and RF therapy. Topical skincare should be directed to a specific need, whether for pigmentation or hypertrophy and our office can guide you through the process to obtain the correct Plato’s Scar cream or Melarase cream for hypertrophy and discoloration. In terms of lasers, we would employ the vbeam laser for redness, Venus Viva RF, PRP microneedling, chemical peels, and Morpheus 8, fractional erbium, or fractional co2. All of these have their individual benefits. Most of all, we recommend you visit a solid plastic surgeon who understands surgical scar revision, laser therapy, and RF therapy for scars.

Thanks for the question. You need proper assessment by a plastic surgeon to determine what has happened and what can be done to improve results. You might benefit from revision reduction specially on outer aspect and scar revision. You might benefit from liposuction on the chest wall on the outer aspect and deep anchoring sutures to define the outer breast borders.

I am sorry for your poor result.  From your photos you will need a full revision for improvement.  The tissue on the sides of the breasts can be addressed to improve shape as well scar revision.  See only board certified plastic surgeons near you for consultations.  Be sure to discuss your concerns and review before/after photos of her/his work. There is no harm in getting more than one opinion.

The shape and contours of your breasts can be improved with a revision. It is likely, however, that this will reduce your volume further. If this is an issue, implants can be added at the time of the revision. Discuss your options first with your surgeon. You can then seek a second opinion if needed.
