Dr. Omer Sagir was born in Adana, Turkey, in 1983. After graduating from Bilfen High School, he started his medical training at the Dicle Faculty of Medicine in 2003 and completed his university training in 2010. Then he passed the TUS exam with a good result and gained the right to begin the residency program of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery residency program in the Acibadem Faculty of Medicine. He had the chance to work with experienced and skillful professors in Turkey. At the same time, he watched and learned from a cosmetic surgeon working in a private aesthetic surgery clinic.
He went to Sudan as a volunteer for a short time to perform cleft palate and lip surgeries for the ones in need.
To improve his surgical skills, he went to the United State to observe Dr. Daniel C. Baker in New York and Constantino Mendieta in Miami. He attended many aesthetic surgeries with these experienced surgeons.
Having performed thousands of aesthetic, reconstructive, and hand surgeries, he completed his medical residency period in July 2015.
His graduation thesis is on the "Effect of Therapy on Rats" (experimental study).
He was qualified as a fellow of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery, and was rewarded with the EU quality recognition in April 2016.
