Can I get back to running after minor chalazion surgery?

Hello, yes, you are safely able to return to running. Normally in a chalazion drainage, no stitches are put in. Just be mindful of the surgical site and apply ointment or drops as directed.

While most of us have no issue with running/activity 24 hours afterwards it is always safest to check with your surgeon to make sure they are comfortable with you resuming activity.

Hi. Greetings from the UK. Assuming that your surgeon performed a standard incision and curettage then yes most patients are usually OK to go back to normal exercise 24hours after. Obviously double check with your surgeon but normally there's no problems associated with this. Overall the tarsal plate is fairly avascular and so there isn't normally a major postop haemorrhage risk. Best WishesDavid

I would ask your doctor because without the specifics of what surgically happened or what medicines you take the answer might change.For typical uncomplicated cases on no blood thinners and healthy patients you should be able to resume activities the next day.

Eyelids have a lot of blood vessels.  That makes them heal very quickly after surgery.  However, it also makes them prone to bleeding.  If you do strenuous exercise too soon after eyelid surgery you might have a problem with bruising and bleeding.  I would suggest that you wait three days before running.
