Ahad Mahootchi, MD

Dr. Mahootchi performed cataract surgery on my eyes in May 2023. I stayed at the Quality Inn, practically next door to the Eye Clinic of Florida.
Dr. Mahootchi is kind and caring and his office staff are impressively efficient as well as personable. The Same Day Surgery Center is just behind the Clinic, and the staff there are just as efficient and personable as those at the clinic.
The surgery was quick and painless. I opted for PanOptix lenses since I wanted to see both near and intermediate. The PanOptix lenses did little to decrease the glare and halos I’ve been seeing for decades; however, I’m thrilled that I can read tiny print that I haven’t been able to read for decades without wearing thick glasses or readers over contacts.
In February 2024, I went back for ptosis surgery on my right eye. For more than a decade, my right eyelid covered about three-quarters of my pupil. Again, the surgery was quick and painless. I’m so happy that my right lid now sits above the pupil as does my left eye. I can see well out of both eyes now!

the procedure was much easier than i had imagined. the staff and Drs. bedside manner were amazing. probably the nicest staff i have ever encountered. made me feel very much at ease. i had no pain at all , not even in the days following. Dr. Mahootchi even called me the very next day to check on me. and the results are amazing. i've already referred 3 people based the my results.

Would highly recommend him.
Very pleased with the outcome and increase of vision after my surgery. I had an upper lid blepharoplasty with brow pexy.

My botox experience with Dr.Mahootchi was very good. I get the botox done all over my face for my Bell's palsy. He is very good at what he does and I trust him for all my Botox needs.

I had three eye procedures, Eyelid Surgery, Brow Lift, my insurance paid for one and I paid for the other two. One of the best thing is every time I look in the mirror I see my mom with her bright eyes looking back.

I had my eyelids repaired because I couldn’t see without squinting. Surgery was easy no pain and quick. Best thing I have ever done. Now I can see without squinting and look better. People that know me said it looks great and no scares showing on my eye lids. It looks normal.

Dr. Mahootchi is a very Good Dr. I have been seeing him for about 15 years for my eyes. I started in Jan. of 2020 with cosmetic stuff. I have had the Agnus procedure done below the eyes and on the Jowl. I have also had filler and Botox. In June I had eyelids done. I can tell you that Dr. Mahootchi is a excellent Dr. He truly cares about his patients and he does excellent work. I am very happy with my results and would not go anywhere else.
I can also tell you that his office and surgery Center are filled with a very professional staff. They are happy to answer any questions you have. I highly recommend this Dr. and I promise you won't be sorry.
