I had an upper lower Blepharoplasty and my left eye is smaller. My left upper eyelid is lager abs my lower eyelid comes up further on my Iris than my right eye. I’ve also been told by an optometrist my left lid is all scar tissue and it grew over my tear duct. I thought I just had a recurring case of conjunctivitis. Original surgeon pretends this is not noticeable and sees nothing wrong. What should I do?

Answer: Pictures seem variable On one photo, the left seems affected and on the other photo, it’s the other side. The photos are not dated. It’s unusual for the lower eyelid margin to ride higher; it’s usually the opposite. Compare your current photos with your pre op photos, and follow with your surgeon.

Answer: Ptosis It looks like you have some ptosis of the right upper lid. This might have been present before the blepharoplasty but was unrecognized due to the excess skin. It can also occur after a bleph if the levator muscle has been altered. The ptosis can be surgically repaired about 6 months after the initial surgery. See an oculoplastic surgeon for an evaluation.Tough to see what is going on with the lower lid. It would be very unusual for scar tissue to grow up over the tear duct. If it has, this can also be repaired.
