Q: Is there a permanent solution for Malar Bags?
Dear Flint,
Fillers cause many problems when used under the eyes and especially on the cheek to camouflage festoons and malar mounds/bags.
I've had success using lasers to help improve these conditions.
I'll include some links below.
I hope this was helpful.
Q: Is there a treatment which helps avoid skin cancer and diminish signs of aging?
Dear San Fran, Photos would be helpful. But what you are describing can be helped with my RESET for Sun Damage Treatment. It uses lasers to stimulate new skin which doesn't have any past sun damage. I'll include some links below. I hope this was helpful.
Q: I'm 36 and noticed these "festoons". Not sure if that's what they are. Also, what treatment options do I have? (Photo)
Dear South Carolina, In your photos, it appears that you have lower lid fullness and festoons/malar mounds. They can make a person appear tired when then feel fine inside. Festoons often form as a result of past sun exposure and usually with age. The lower lid fullness can be address with surgery to remove or relocate the fat in this area, The festoons are more difficult to address but I've had success using lasers to improve them. I'll include a link below. I hope this was helpful.
Q: Eye bags 9 months after rhinoplasty. I would like to know how this can be corrected. Advice?
Dear Andy ,
It appears that you have evidence of fullness in the lower eyelid region. This happens often as we age.
These changes can make a person appear tired, sick and older even when they feel fine inside.
The best options would be surgery to remove or relocate the fat in this region. Fillers could help to camouflage the bags but surgery is the more definitive option.
Best to seek out an Oculoplastic Specialist in your area.
I hope this was helpful.
