Does abdominoplasty also lift pub is area

It is common to have the mons area lifted when performing a tummy tuck procedure. This procedure does not require a separate incision, as your abdominal area is being tightened, your physician is able to lift your pubis area as well. It is important to voice any concerns of your pubis prior to surgery so any additional contouring or lifting can be performed. The mons pubis is usually lifted as part of an abdominoplasty. Your surgeon should assess this area preoperatively to determine the degree of fullness and laxity/droop that is present. This alone is usually adequate to address the aesthetic concerns of the pubic area. Sometimes, however, additional procedures can be helpful and/or indicated. Be sure to discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon. 

In most cases, you can expect the tummy tuck to also lift the pubic area.   Be sure to discuss the pubic area with your plastic surgeon before the tummy tuck so that additional contouring can be planned.   Good luck.

A tummy tuck can be done through a low and short incision, all completely below the
bikini line.Your muscles can also be
plicated resulting in a flat abdomen. The most important aspect is to find
a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with

Thank you for your question.  An abdominoplasty will also lift a patient's pubic area as part of its skin removal procedure, improving the full length of the abdomen and pelvis regions of a patient.  Hope this helps.

The easy answer is...YES!In fact, this is one of the really nice benefits of a tummy tuck in that it not only addresses loose skin and enhances your waistline but it can also lift your mons area creating a much nicer transition from your lower abdominal wall to your vagina.  I hope that helps and wish you luck!

In most cases an abdominoplasty will also tighten and lift the mons pubis area. Near the end of this procedure I commonly liposuction along the incision line and in this area to make sure everything is smooth and attractive. I also liposuction the mons area in most cases as well to reduce an excess fullness that women may have here. Yes. If the scar is targeted as low as possible, it does give a 'lift' to the mons pubis. It can also be liposuctioned or 'defatted' to even out the transition between your new flat tummy and the mons area. The tummy tuck procedure can be planned to lift the pubic area as well and thin and reduce fat over the pubic bone. If this is a specific concern of yours be sure you discuss this with your surgeon during the consultation. It is best not to assume, rather discuss clearly what you hope to acheive.
