When will spitting stitches stop and heal? (Photo)

Asked By:Newmommy224 in Gainesville, FL

I was 5 weeks post op yesterday from full tummy tuck/lipo. Around week 3 I was diagnosed with a surface level infection treated by antibiotics and stitches were trying to expel themselves. The infection has cleared up fine and the other parts of incision are healing well. I just had 3 more spots "pop" open recently. When will this (spitting stitches) stop And once they stop, how long will it take to heal? Added bonus-red bumps under the incision. When will this heal up?? Thanks!!
