After a couple year I realized I never left a review. After meeting with about 5 different surgeons I decided to go with dr. Johnson. Not only did he make me feel comfortable but everyone in his office was amazing. My Augmentation was and is perfect. You wouldn't even know I had something done. They look natural and you would need a magnifying glass to see the scares. I recommended him to my cousin and would do it to anyone else I knew looking for anything.

I began to notice some lines and sagging in my face which I wanted to have taken care of for my own self satisfaction. Dr. Johnson is a master. He is an Aesthetic plastic surgeon of the highest magnitude. He is like a fine architect for one's face. I cannot emphasize enough how skillful and amazing he is as a professional. He also happens to be a kind, caring and wonderful person! I think the world of him and his staff, in every aspect!

I highly recommend Dr. Peter Johnson if you need a Plastic Surgeon. He did a first class job when he removed a BCC under my lower eyelid. I was told by a dermatologist that I needed Mohs surgery .I was terrified by that, so I decided to go to him for a second opinion and I did not have to have the surgery. He removed the BCC at his own office and he did a wonderful job!! there is no scar on my lower eyelid. I am very happy for that and grateful for making the right choice. Thank you Dr. Peter Johnson!

December 15, 2017 I was originally referred to Dr. Johnson by my dermatologist for the removal of a Lipoma, and took the opportunity to inquire about a Breast Reduction due to the many years of chronic back pain I have lived with. From the get go, I felt extremely comfortable with both Dr. Johnson and his staff. His office is super relaxing, and everyone who works there is so nice and accomodating! Dr. Johnson has such a special calming bedside manner and is honestly one of the nicest physicians I've ever met (and I have met a LOT). I am so perplexed by others who say anything different! My Lipoma removal went without a hitch, however, unfortunately my recovery from the breast reduction is proving more difficult due to healing issues. So far, from my research on realself.com and through other resources, Dr. Johnson's handling of my healing issues are in line with others in the same field, so I have full confidence in him that my body will eventually settle down. I chose to write this review before I'm completely healed because I feel it important to publicly share that despite my body not cooperating, I am very pleased with Dr. Johnson's artistic & professional skills, the ease of making appointments (especially for all of my urgent needs that have popped up), continued weekly follow-up care, his caring nature, calm energy (which significantly helps when you have high anxiety), 30+ years of experience, and no pressure practice. I know once some more time has gone by and my healing improves, I will be able to enjoy my results for the long term. I truly appreciate all of the continued kindness and care shown to me during this process, I know I am in good hands! Dr. Johnson did my breast augmentation about two and a half years ago and i love my new boobies!!! They look and feel natural. The only problem I have is that when I flex my chest muscles, you can see a weird distortion in my breasts because the implants were placed under the muscle (subglandular). However, I understand going under the muscle was better for me because I did not have a lot of breast tissue to begin with and wanted a more natural look.

I had another plastic surgeon who botched me up, left a huge hole in my stomach and 5 infections from another hospital. That surgeon up and disappeared. Admitted a few times to Lutheran General, they didn't want to get involved on someone else's mess. Dr Johnson said enough, this needs to be dealt with and he did surgery right away and a fantastic job. He has a heart of gold. He has also removed many lipoma's and you can't even see the scars. If you want an excellent surgeon, one who won't over charge you and actually cares about the patient, Dr. Johnson is your choice.

I have always been cup A and have never been happy with what I had. After 15 years of thinking about I finally did it now I just hope everything goes well and that I have good results. Monday May 1st was my surgery in the office every thing went well at home I haven't have too much pain maybe because of the pain killers. So everything feels okay with the except that the medications is getting me drowsy and the bandages are very uncomfortable and trying to sleep. I was cup A and I got the 38cc

I chose Dr. Johnson after meeting with other top plastic surgeons in downtown Chicago. His gentle and caring manner mixed with his obvious artistic talent caught my attention. He was the only Dr. to suggest a partial vs. full abdominoplasty for my diastasis. Add in his patient listening skills and I was won.The friendly staff just enhances this spa like experience. Did I just use the word surgery and spa in the same sentence? Yes, its as close as it gets. His results are beautiful!!!

Dr Johnson was beyond amazing from the start. Not pushy, very kind. I just had my surgery today under twilight sedation and woke up with no pain at all, no groggyness. You can tell dr Johnson cares about your opinion and wants to stay true to yourself but enhance your natural beauty. I got 420cc in my right and 450Cc in my left to even out my assymetry, I really trusted him in sizing by showing him my wish pics . Thanks Dr Johnson! Updated on 8 Jun 2016: Feeling some discomfort today so started taking the prescribed pain meds - helping tons! I love the way they're looking already which I'm very surprised how nice they are! Dr. J is taking off the dressings on Monday at my first Post Op app, and can't wait to see how my nipple placement looks :) Updated on 11 Jun 2016: Nothing much has changed, less overall pain but incision spots are burning a little .. My left breast is dropping a bit quicker as you can tell in pics lol :)

When I was 20 yrs. old I had significant asymmetry between my right and left breast and had an implant put in my right breast. This was covered by my insurance company as it was deemed a congenital abnormality. Fast forward 20 yrs. and 3 kids later my implant had collapsed and I was in pain. I went to see Dr. Johnson for a consultation and was really impressed with him and his amazing staff. He was kind, honest and really focused on what would give me the best result. He worked with my insurance to replace the implant and to reconstructed the left breast with an implant and then a breast lift to achieve symetry and what I feel is a beautiful result . He did an amazing job! I feel normal again and have gotten back a little piece of what motherhood took away. Thank you Dr. Johnson for your expertise, honesty and for taking such good care of me before and after my procedure! I am extremely impressed and would highly recommend Dr. Johnson to my family and friends.
