Lipo360 and BBL vs. Sculptra BBL - What's the best option for an athletic look? (photos)

Question

Current pics in green, my wish pics in blue. Surgeon said approx 700cc in each cheek. I am not unhappy with my body but I want to make some tweaks. I am pursuing an acting career, so I want an athletic look. Would lipo360/bbl be my best option or sculptra bbl and are my wish pics reasonable? I am a bit worried about downtime/recovery/possible complications. I was quoted $8.5k by a board certified PS & he recommends we wear foam, board, & faja for 2 months. If I don't wear foam/board, will that ruin my result? Can I cause dents in my skin? Is surgery worth the risk in my case?

Based on your pictures, I think in my experience that you would benefit from the 360 lipo + BBL.  Your wish pics are reasonable so surgery is feasible, in the hands of a skilled and experienced plastic surgeon.

Wearing compression after surgery is important. By aiding your body in adjusting to its new form, it lowers the likelihood of your skin becoming loose or developing wrinkles. It also has other benefits like reducing swelling, draining, etc …

It always important to follow the surgeon’s post-op recommendations.

Hi! Definitely not Sculptra. You are a perfect candidate for high definition liposuction with abdominal etching and Fat transfer to buttocks and hips. I do a lot of models and actresses and I can tell you would have a perfect result. The best filler you can use is your own fat cells. They contain stem cells and gives the surgeon more control in terms of sculpting your buttocks and hips. I would definitely add abdominal etching. 
My protocol for the best results are: 
1- Massages. 1 per day for 10 days straight. Non negotiable. 2- Diet and exercise. You want to protect your investment. 3- Faja for 8-10 weeks non stop. Foam and board first 4 weeks. 4- Follow 1,2,3 religiously :).

Thanks for your question. A BBL vs. a Sculptra BBL depends on if you want long lasting results or temporary results. A Sculptra BBL is done with Sculptra injections, which is a filler that lasts about 2 years eventually dissolving and absorbed by the body. The BBL done with fat transfer offers more permanent results since its your own fat that is injected into to the buttocks. Hope this helps. In this regard, I recommend you waist and back Liposculpture, getting better curves especially in the waist, improving your body contour.

Finally, I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and butt projection, is that we know as "Brazilian Butt Lift" (BBL).

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

You could definitely have an amazing result with Liposuction and a BBL. I would favor this over sculptra. One of the advantages is that the fat injected is your own, and it is not a foreign object. A challenge that you may run into is finding enough fat for harvesting to then inject 700 mL into each side, however, have this discussion with your board-certified plastic surgeon. I think that you would otherwise do very well with this operation. I understand that Fat grafting does have its limitations with how the fat remains and takes. I would follow the recommendations of your surgeon regarding compression or no compression on the areas that received Fat grafting . This is always in your best interest. It is sometimes a difficult time frame, however, for the best results it is your best choice. We are happy to help in any way we can.

you could get to your desire look with BBL .I have done more than 15 BBL operations every month and I haven't any serious complications after BBL until this time. After BBL you should wear wear foam for a certain time and this time would be changed by your preferred surgeon. in my experience (more than 25 years ) I recommend my patients it for maximum a month. I feel you are a very good candidate for a Lipo BBL.  This will give you an athletic waist and augment your buttocks.
Using Sculptra will be a waste of money...need too much to augment the buttocks and would be prohibitively expensive.

The best way to cultivate ann athletic is by being athletic and training your body.  Squats and lunges and core work are a cheap and safe way to embellish your midsection and backside.  You do have some modest fat deposits over your hips and posterior trunk that could be targeted for the sake of liposuction and subtle fat grafting. It’s important not to overdo it or leave deformities. I do a lot of revision BBLs and I see women with your physique who were chasing unnecessary volume and end up deformed so the key is precision and artistic subtlety.  And a final point:  aggressive compression and lymphatic massage is critical to creating a platinum grade result. Without it, you will swell and end up looking suboptimal.
