I am 5’3 and 160 pounds I have had 2 children and as a result I hate how my current body looks I am wondering if I am a good candidate for a bbl with 360 lipo or if I need a tummy tuck instead

You are a great candidate for a tummy tuck to remove the fat-skin excess and fix the belly for a flatter one. Lipo on the upper abdomen, Sides, upper-lower back with waist definition plus fat transfer to the buttocks and hip area BBL.

Thank you for your question regarding Thank you for your question regarding if you’re a good candidate for 360 liposuction or if you need a tummy tuck. By examining your pictures I see that you have stretch marks. This tells me that your skin has been stretched out and will not snap back tightly after liposuction. If you do not want the tummy tuck, you could do the Lipo 360 with the BBL and wait to see your results. If you are unhappy with the excess skin, you could then have part 2: a tummy tuck. The tummy tuck will be great because muscle plication will help with your distended tummy.

If you are avoiding multiple surgeries, you can get the tummy tuck with liposuction of the arms, back, flanks, and thighs (almost lipo 360) with fat transfer to the buttocks.

Thank-you for your query!  You do have some laxity of your abdominal wall and liposuction without a tummy tuck will not give you the desired results.  You can have a 360 LIPO with a tummy tuck and a BBL as well  , if you want an enhancement of your buttocks. I believe that you have some excess skin that may require skin removal (tummy tuck) you may also have some laxity of your abdominal wall muscles that may need correction to provide a flatter tummy. However, I recommend that you are evaluated in person by a board-certified plastic surgeon who can better assess your skin, muscle and fatty tissue. Good luck!

Hi! Skin quality is one of the most important components in deciding if the skin will retract with liposuction. As per the pictures, the stretch marks are a good predictor of poor skin elasticity and its ability to retract. If your goal is to have a flat abdomen, the tummy tuck will provide a better result as it'll remove the excess skin and also repair the muscle separation causing the bulging :) Hope this helps!

Based on your pictures I will definitely recommend to have a tummy tuck with muscle repair, liposuction procedure will not help you with the diastasis and extra skin that you are dealing with, tummy tuck with muscle repair will give you the results you are looking for better shape and flat abdomen, also you can combine this procedure with a BBL as well. It is important to understand that if you are considering a procedure to improve the contour of your abdomen and remove loose skin and strengthen the abdominal wall, this procedure involves more than just liposuction. A traditional tummy tuck involves abdominal diastasis repair, excess skin removal in some cases with umbilical reconstruction, and tightening of the abdominal muscles. Liposuction alone will not provide the same results as a complete tummy tuck because it only removes fat and does not address any loose skin or muscle repair. It is important for you to discuss all of your options with a borad certified plastic surgeon. Based on these photos, you are excellent candidate for liposuction of torso (abdomen, flnks, lower back, lipo 360) and abdominoplasty. This is done in our practicve in two stages considering the limits of liposuction volume in State of Florida. Your first procedure should consist of abdominoplasty and limitted liposuction of abdomen and anterior flanks (1 litter of fat), followed with full torso liposuction 6 months after first surgery. based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
