For Asian Rhinoplasty, is it worth it to put in a silicon with a height of 2 mm ?

Thank you for your question. There are number of ways to augment the dorsum. Although silicone is one way it tends to be easily exposed over time. A better alternative would be to consider using cartilage in order to provide the look that you are after.Best wishesTheodore T. Nyame MD

First off, cartilage over silicone in most Asian rhinoplasty cases.  Silicone tends to show sometimes in thin skin.  It can be a good option in thicker skin in some cases though.Second, despite us leaving helpful comments we can't help much without some photos. In any case, asking for a tall bridge can make a nose look a bit long especially if your face is shorter, round, or more square shaped.Best of luckChase Lay, MD
