My radix is deep because I am an Asian. If I wanted to add height to radix, what is the range of the cost get argumentation? You don't have to give me exact cost, but give me cost for the best and worst senario.
Answer: What is the cost of a radix graft? First of all you might try a filler to see whether or not you like it. This can last 1 to 2 years depending on which is used in cost less than $1000. The cost of the radix graft made out of cartilage or fascia etc. will depend on where one has to get this from and the amount of time it takes.

Answer: Radix graft cost 3 Questions to answer yourself regarding radix graft to the nose: Are you willing to undergo a surgical procedure? How much do you want to spend? How much downtime/recovery can you afford? Injections using Radiesse or calcium hydroxyapatite can give you a temporary 9-14 months result but must be repeated and range between $300-800 depending on how much filler is injected. There is no downtime and patients often return to work same day. Surgical placement of permanent grafts using either your own cartilage or synthetic material, i.e. Goretex, can range between $3000-8000 depending on surgeon fees, procedure time, and types of anesthesia used. Recovery is usually 1-2 weeks of social swelling. Usually after this period of time, people that don't know you will not know you had surgery.

Answer: Asian rhinoplasty cost Thank you for the question. It really depends on what needs to be done. It can be very simple to use fillers if the radix is truly the only area that needs to be addressed. However, these are temporary and not very versatile. A nasal implant can be used also, though this requires surgery and has a risk of delayed complications (infection, extrusion, etc.). My preferred option is a diced cartilage in fascia graft (DCIF, sometimes called "Turkish delight"). This uses your own cartilage (septum, ear, sometimes rib) and connective tissue (temporalis fascia) to make an onlay graft and raise the radix and/or bridge. This is a versatile technique with few drawbacks. The caveat is that it requires a true rhinoplasty, and thus, the cost is more like $10,000 with everything included.

Answer: Radix graft cost? Hello Kate24199,Thanks for your question. There are several ways to augment the radix. The easiest is the use of injectable filler. I prefer to use a 0.5cc Restylane-L which in my practice costs the patient $300. It lasts for 9-12 months, but must be repeated. Other options include the use of Radiesse injections to build 2+ years of volume. This costs closer to $800 per injection.More permanent methods for radix augmentation include cartilage grafting and Medpor implant placement.A cartilage graft requires a donor site from the patient and can be performed using topical/local anesthesia and oral sedation. This keeps the cost closer to $2000. The downsides are the extra surgery for the donor site and the fact that the graft can reabsorb, calcify, and/or shift with time, making it more noticeable and less blended. My procedure of choice for "permanent" radix augmentation is the use of the Medpor radix implant. It can be performed under similar conditions as a cartilage graft. I like it because it is better shaped than cartilage and is more powerful in terms of crease erasing. The downsides are that it can become infected and need to be removed. When placed properly the chances for displacement are slim which is a good thing. The cost for this procedure runs between $2500-$2700.If you need anesthesia at a surgery center, that would increase the cost of the procedure. You can see a review of a patient I placed a Medpor graft in just last week. Obviously he is still quite swollen because we approached from his anterior hairline, but he is quite happy.I hope this was helpful.Take care,Dr. Shah

Answer: Radix augmentation cost Hi Kate and thanks for your question!Giving you an idea of the cost is difficult without examining you in person. However, the cost is probably in the range of a bit over $1000 if the procedure you need is simple to $4000-$5000 if you require a more complex procedure. Sorry to not be able to give you a more definite answer. The best way to get this wide cost range estimate narrowed down would be to be evaluated in person. Thanks for the question and please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns!
