I'm mostly fine with how my nose looks at rest and don't want to risk altering that for the worse. I know it's normal for a nose to look wider when smiling, but in my case, the way it flares really disrupts the overall balance of my face
Hello, I had a rhinoplasty on January 2023 to augment the nose bridge and to fix a deviated septum as well. A year later I noticed that it started to seem that my nose bridge wasn't as tall as it was during the months after the procedure, which could be mainly because of the swelling going down. I started doing nose exercises for a while during summer 2024 because I didn't like what it looked like, and some of them were a bit rough and it involved touching my nose tip and the bridge as well (I know that supposedly there is no evidence that they work). One day I noticed that a greyish line had appeared under my nose tip, which wasn't there before, so I stopped doing them shortly after, but I continued touching my nose bridge occasionally. I stopped touching my nose altogether a few months ago. The issue is that I don't know what happened to my nose and why it doesn't look like it did before, even after a year or more since the procedure (so I'm not talking exclusively when it was obviously swollen still). I have noticed that I flare my nose involuntarily when talking or randomly, and that never used to happen, even before the procedure. My nostrils also show more so my nose doesn't look as projected from the front either. I also sometimes feel a tingling on my nose or like it moves from the inside, and it never happened after the procedure either, it started approx. 10 months ago. I plan on getting nose fillers soon.
I had a rhino 9 months ago and rverything seemed good. Some time after 6 months, the tip starting looking crooked, like pulled over to one side. My nose was straight before surgery. My bridge looks okay but the tip is my concern. Im wondering if its a new underlying structural issue or if its weird healing, or scar tissue formation... what are my options?
I got a rhinoplasty with alarplasty about 6 months ago. I am regretting it so much especially the alarplasty because it doesnt suit my features at all. My nose looks strange when i smile. Its too upturned and my infratip lobule and columella is too flat. The nose itself is pretty but not on me. How do i fix this? Can it be fixed without surgery? Can filler be put in the infratip lobule and columella to round it out? if i do surgery, is it possible to do just minor tip revision surgery or a full revision need to be done? thank you
My nose is a little big and the bridge is low. I'm considering about rhinoplasty so would like to know if the procedure will affect people's ability to do freediving and scuba diving which the nose has to be pinched a lot to do equalization when diving deeper. Thank you !
I had a perfect straight nose until I wasnt looking where I was going a week ago and ran into a glass window. I had a nosebleed and a bump on my nose ridge, so I iced it when I got back home and its been here for 7 days. Its less prominent and hurts less and I dont have any breathing problems, but I really want it off. Should I continue waiting or is there a way to fix this? Thanks!
I got a nose thread lift in March and my body rejected the threads. It wasnt until July all the threads came out. I started looking into rhinoplasty and the different materials used (silicone, autologous rib, cadaver rib and diced rib cartilage) but Im wondering since my body rejected PDO threads, if I should avoid rhinoplasty altogether. Context, I have a low bridge and droopy nose, I was looking into getting a higher bridge and upturned nose. Is the chance of rejection higher?
