What is the least invasive option to correct my tuberous breasts? Hoping to avoid implants (photos)

Unfortunately, there is no quick fix for tuberous breasts. Usually, some combination of tissue release, areolae reduction and/or lift with augmentation is required and may need stages.

Fat transfer followed by delayed lift with tissue releases and probable repeated fat transfer is usually more difficult for consistent results as compared to implant augmentation.

An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon who performs these procedures is recommended to confirm you are a candidate as well as further discuss your best options and expectations.

The appearance of your breasts could be improved with an uplift combined with an areola reduction, and some fat grafting to help boost the volume in the lower pole of your breast. I think your best result would be with the addition of a breast implant, but I would still anticipate the above procedure to provide you with substantial improvement. This could be performed as a daycase procedure (no need to stay overnight) with a short general anaesthetic and minimal downtime. If you were not satisfied with the appearances without an implant, you could consider the addition of a breast implant at a later date. I would recommend consulting a plastic surgery with a specialist interest in breast surgery.

Your breasts are sagging rather than tuberous. A breast lift can help reshape your breasts to make them rounder and fuller. At the same time, areolae reduction can be performed to make them more proportionately pleasing. You do not need implants unless you want to be larger. Your size would be about the same as you are now.

The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.

Hi. Without an implant, you could correct your tuberous breasts with a breast lift procedure. It would not require a lot of downtime. Talk to your surgeon to discuss it in more depth with you so you can really understand what the expectations of outcome would be. Best of luck!

Tuberous breast correction is certainly possible wtihout implants. Fat transfer is a great option as long as you have fat to donate to the breasts. The procedure would require at the very least incision around the areolas to reduce them, and that incision will provide access for deeper release to better round out the breasts. I do think implants are a wonderful tool to more predictably defining new shape and volume, so think about discussing this with your consulting surgeon.
I would strongly recommend you see a board certified plastic surgeon.

The short answer is yes. Yes you can achieve an aesthetic improvement in shape and size with fat transfer alone, and yes, combining it with a lift and areola reduction will likely improve the results over fat transfer alone. You may need more than one transfer to get the best results. You will not look like you have implants. Most patients take a week off of work. Hope this helps.

In your case breast lift with reduction of areolas and shaping of narrow breast tissue would be a good option. You will, most likely, loose 1/2-1 cup size but will still end up with good breast volume. Hope this helps.

Any procedure should include a mastopexy. If you desire fuller rounder breasts, then you may consider having a fat transfer at the same time as the mastopexy.

You are an ideal patient for a breast lift surgery. My preference would actually be to do a breast lift WITHOUT an implant. We could always add an implant later on if you so desired. I think a well-done breast lift will correct your droop and correct the size of the areola, without effecting your actual size. I would add nothing nor remove anything other than some skin. Find a plastic surgeon who does lots of breast surgery, especially breast lifts, and I think you will be very happy!
